This was probably the last "Waterfire" for the season. It was Titled : " "A Celebration of Life at WaterFire"
"WaterFire" is a truly artistic creation and an enjoyable feature of summer in Providence, RI. This is our beautiful State Capitol Building. This dome is one of only 4 unsupported MARBLE domes in the world. Tonight it's usual white lighting was changed to PINK, in honor of the Celebration of Life presented by The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
Sadly this photo, taken at 12:10 AM is not good, but the cause IS. As a cancer survivor, I proudly show one picture , in support of what can and must be done.
CANCER will (must) be cured. We were not given the intelligence to put man on the moon yet can not find the cure. It just does not "compute" The CURE WILL BE FOUND.
Good 1940 of art deco numerals.
We are expected to comprehend immediately and subconsciously that "1528" is a street address and "1940" is a year. Is that expectation fair?

In downtown Rock Island, Illinois, on May 20th, 2023, at Rock Island City Hall (built 1940, surfaced in Bedford limestone, a "contributing property" in the Downtown Rock Island Historic District, 100004433 on the National Register of Historic Places) at the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and 16th Street.
Bedford limestone, a/k/a Indiana limestone, is known geologically as the Salem Limestone formation of the Sanders group, formed during the Viséan age of the Mississippian subperiod of the Carboniferous period of the Paleozoic era, ~346.7 to ~330.9 million years ago.

I played above expectation on the first day of play in the Arden Cup, winning six of eight games. This was my highest-scoring one of them all, a 500-point effort, and includes one of my favorite bingoes of the tourney: EUPHONIC, which I played to the C.
