The Return
And here it is why thiat title..
The Sebastianism was a secular-mystical movement that occurred in Portugal in the second half of the sixteenth century as a consequence of the death of King Sebastian in the Battle of Alcazarquivir in 1578. For lack of heirs, the Portuguese throne ended in the hands of King Philip II's Spanish branch of the house of Habsburg. Sebastianism translates a disagreement with the prevailing political situation and expectation of salvation, even miraculous, through the resurrection of an illustrious dead.
The people never accepted the king's death, the legend disclosing that he was still alive, just waiting for the right moment to return to the throne and away from foreign domination.
