week 30 - artistic: family ... family as inspiration, no people can be in the image.
We are an expat family for the last 15 years, lived in 5 continents and traveled the world.
"the best pizza on the island (caye caulker), claimed the owner of this place. with habanero mixed in its pizza sauce, it was delicious. another expat in a hotel elsewhere claimed that alcohol was the only way to "get through the tropics."
N26JH, in RCAF training colours as 18010. Can't say I like the one piece canopy, it sort of ruins the classic Chippy lines. This Chippy is actually an ex RAF machine WZ860.

The registration plate PVN131 on this 1967 Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine suggests a connection with the North Riding of Yorkshire. Until the local government reorganisation of 1974, the North Yorkshire vehicle licensing authority issued plates with the letters ‘VN’.
Pattaya, Thailand
Yes, this is still Thailand,
Last November I saw this young lady sitting at one of the bar off of Walking Street. At first, I thought she was in Thailand for holiday, but then a few weeks after that, I saw her again at the same bar flirting with an older foreign man.
Five months later, I see her again, at the same bar. After taking this shot, she reconcile with a young gentleman with long hair. Perhaps a date?
Anyhow, she's not the only African girl I see working here in Pattaya, as a matter of fact there are several girls who have migrated to Thailand to find work in the bar scene

An unfortunate end for these Irish Citaros, and an ex Londoner hiding in the corner.
The Citaros were new to Last Passive (First Aircoach) for Dublin Airport work, although I do not know exact identities. The Tempo is former Metroline OTH972 / LK58 CTZ.

The men often do their hair up nicer than the women!
Korea's neon lights are always fascinating to newcomers, who often feel like they are in some sort of mutated Las Vegas. I actually missed the neons when I went back to California last month, and found the streets kind of dull. But then again, it was nice to be able to walk in a straight line and have some space. And quiet!

This is where my brother's business associate and wife lived in Arequipa in 1972 in a delightful house of volcanic sillar stone with large grounds.
Today this property will almost certainly have been engulfed by development. What used to be campiña, or farmland in the background is most likely completely covered with houses and roads.

One of the handful of ex-Thameslink CLass 319s transferred to WCML stopping services, LNWR no. 319441 (still in London Midland vinyls) awaits departure from London Euston P11 with 2T47, the 1654 stopping service to Tring. 319460, similarly liveried, was on the country end.
I bumped into this 2 kids while i was shooting for my photog assignment. They said 'Hi' to me first so i just couldn't resist but to ask to take a picture of them. Seriously, foreign kids are just so much friendly and open as compared to locals. =x
As part of a swap within Arriva, a number of Leyland Lynxes were swapped from the north east and sent to north Wales. Former 5008 H34PAJ and 5015 J655UHN were sent west and were seen in 2002 in the old Bangor depot yard
