Found a pair of these this morning on shingles directly under our porch light. Think they may be Tiger Moths, but am not really sure.
This photograph was taken in the exotic birds section in London Zoo using my compact camera Nikon Coolpix S9300 after about 5 minutes of trying to get the cameras autofocus to do what I wanted it to do! This is the one infuriating thing about the Nikon Coolpix, the manual focus is completely useless and doesn't work, and the autofocus is annoying as it decides to focus on random things instead of your intended target which is central in shot.

For the discerning gourmet in search of unique regional dishes, you can't get more, uh, regional than this. Our variety of colorful fish are kind of like Koi, except that instead of giving them the royal treatment, we just eat them. After all, nature didn't intend these beautiful fish to spend their lives in captivity, as is the fate of your typical Koi. So what you see above is actually a form of liberation. Listen very carefully and you'll hear them singing "Rivers Of Babylon" there on the plate.
