After the aromatic and filling crispy salmon salad, lettuce wrap, shrimp noodles seafood soup, and smoked duck breast with golden curry and jumbo tiger prawn with coconut and basil courses, guests were treated to "lighter" exotic fruit plates with mixed summer berries, starfruit, dragonfruit, and gooseberries. An emptied dragonfruit shell encased a number of white and milk chocolate truffles filled with coconut milk, lychee or dragonfruit. Mango puree decorated the plates to finish the presentation. This was created by Bernard Cheng from George's Tastee Bakery &Deli on behalf of Linda Restaurant.

"These exotic pumpkins in different muted
colors, may have been around for awhile...
but this is the 1st year I've noticed them!
They're definitely a change from the
normal orange and I love their look! But,
btw, orange is still best...dontcha think?"

"Do you see the yellow flower hiding in
this pic? I didn't notice it until I pulled these
pumpkins up to post...surprise!"

Hope you all have a sensational week!

Ikigai: I got a fountain. I love it. I get excited when mom changes the water. I learned that sniffing bubbling water to see how fresh it is does not work out well. I still like to dip my paws in it, so it gets changed often.
The nervous stance was due to mom pointing that camera thing at me.

The Exotic Lounge has been closed for at least the three years I've been driving by it every couple of weeks. Its parking-lot is gradually filling up with shrubs. In the lounge's heyday, the 1970s and '80s?, people probably felt a lot easier than today about having a few beer and driving home. A lot of local bars have closed up in the last ten or twenty years. I doubt many people are drinking less, but many are driving less once drunk.
This is another shot on Macocolor UCN200 print film, in my Bilora Bella 44 camera. Red light leaks on the edges are courtesy of Maco's strangely 1-mm-too-long spools and thicker-than-old-film film, making for a tendency to unspring or despool a little, and thus to let in light at the flanges. Too bad, but it's always a nice colour, brighter than anything I've achieved in the images.
Fuzzy detail you should blame on my 13-year-old flatbed scanner, and my poor scanning technique.
