Subtropical Aloes and Agaves suggest a warmer climate but the Daffodils give the game away! This is an amazing garden on the Blackhead Path near Whitehead, Co Antrim. The mild coastal climate allows many subtropical plants to grow and thrive.
Just a slice of a new world that has come upon us and especially the provincial state of Minnesota. Not all people are quite happy about the unstoppable change . . . and I venture to say that many of those xenophobes would say, "Let them eat lefse." What a horrible fate!

Wish you all a wonderful and happy weekend my friends. Be happy, keep smiling :))**
Please if any of you know the name of this flower i would love if you can identify it to me.
The Latin Quarter on the Left Bank has a several-block area of wall-to-wall ethnic restaurants. The area becomes very lively after dark, and the aromas from the restaurants are very deliciously enticing.
The Maison de Gyros looked like a very nice restuarant, but there is something about their menu that is a little disconcerting. I supposed I could have tried the Ass. Steak (but I didn't). ; -))
The wonderful Exotics never fail to make me smile. They were my first loves until I saw the Scottish Folds. :-P

NASA’s Juno spacecraft captured this stunningly view of Jupiter during its 22nd close flyby of the planet (also referred to as “perijove 22”). In this image, south is towards the top, and the enhanced colors evokes an exotic marble and childhood joy!
Jupiter is composed mostly of hydrogen and helium, but some of the color in its clouds may come from plumes of sulfur and phosphorus-containing gases rising from the planet's warmer interior.
Citizen scientist Prateek Sarpal created this image using data from the spacecraft’s JunoCam imager.

This flower is known as Leucospermum (Pincushion Protea) in the scientific world. It is part of the Proteaceae family. In addition, this family of plants has over 100 species. This diverse family includes trees, and shrubs. Moreover, majority of these species can be found in South Africa. The climate in SA is perfect to grow these delicate and intricate flowers. They are really unique.
I like these exotic flowers and have made already some flower arrangements with them. They do last quite long in a vase… or in floral foam up to 2 – 3 weeks.

This is my second birthday bouquet from Billies Flower House. My sister ordered this one. She asked for exotic flowers or, at least, flowers I don't grow myself.
It's true I don't recognize many of the leaves and flowers but I do recognize Chocolate Cosmos by both sight and by smell. ;)

Tastes like chicken
The craziest animal I’ve ever eaten was alligator. It was deep fried and, honestly, tasted like chicken.
They say all exotic meats “taste like chicken.” But what if you don’t even like chicken? Unfortunately, I eat a lot of chicken because it’s easy and I’m lazy.
