Taken at the Festival Of Flowers!
I've not a clue as to what this flower is, but, it was amazing!
Promise to catch up tomorrow! More rain on the way! I think we've had our fill!

The Jensen Interceptors were hand-built at the Kelvin Way Factory, West Bromwich near Birmingham in England by Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1976. A total of 6,408 were produced.
Stumbled across this group of exotics today. From left to right...

I love to have dolls with a variety of hairstyles in my collection and given that I also have a sort of 'two dolls per sculpt' rule (which is more often broken than adhered to but it is a kind of 'guiding principle ;-)) Dominique Evening Blossom was my first choice to represent this sculpt in my collection and I still think she is one of the best!
I have been inspired in her styling by the fabulous Style Lab outfits from the Luxe Life Convention, in particular the Remix outfit. Dominique has been rebodied on a NuFace Latino skin tone body which I actually think is a much better skin tone match for her than her original Light Honey body (which she donated to Amelie ;-))
Dominique wears:
Annik Pop of Color shorts
Color Infusion Jacket from the Gloss ? Convention 2014
Mad Love Rayna stockings
Older Nu face or FR (?) shoes

In Australia's north plants like this exotic beehive ginger native to SE Asia grow well in our tropical conditions as long as they have plenty of water. This one is (I think) Zingiber spectabile, growing in a garden near Katherine in the Top End of the Northern Territory.
Sincere thanks for visiting my Australian nature offerings!

The Latin Quarter on the Left Bank has a several-block area of wall-to-wall ethnic restaurants. The area becomes very lively after dark, and the aromas from the restaurants are very deliciously enticing.
The Maison de Gyros looked like a very nice restuarant, but there is something about their menu that is a little disconcerting. I supposed I could have tried the Ass. Steak (but I didn't). ; -))

NASA’s Juno spacecraft captured this stunningly view of Jupiter during its 22nd close flyby of the planet (also referred to as “perijove 22”). In this image, south is towards the top, and the enhanced colors evokes an exotic marble and childhood joy!
Jupiter is composed mostly of hydrogen and helium, but some of the color in its clouds may come from plumes of sulfur and phosphorus-containing gases rising from the planet's warmer interior.
Citizen scientist Prateek Sarpal created this image using data from the spacecraft’s JunoCam imager.
This flower is known as Leucospermum (Pincushion Protea) in the scientific world. It is part of the Proteaceae family. In addition, this family of plants has over 100 species. This diverse family includes trees, and shrubs. Moreover, majority of these species can be found in South Africa. The climate in SA is perfect to grow these delicate and intricate flowers. They are really unique.
I like these exotic flowers and have made already some flower arrangements with them. They do last quite long in a vase… or in floral foam up to 2 – 3 weeks.

This is my second birthday bouquet from Billies Flower House. My sister ordered this one. She asked for exotic flowers or, at least, flowers I don't grow myself.
It's true I don't recognize many of the leaves and flowers but I do recognize Chocolate Cosmos by both sight and by smell. ;)

Nothing exotic about a grumpy cat though, except his name: yeah, you look that up.

There is nothing more beautiful than watching the sun go directly into the sea, There is no wander that our ancestors believed that we were the centre of the universe.
This image was taken at Turtle Beach after an hour walk on a jungle track. We didn't see any turtles, unfortunately, but the sunset compensated for it.
Hope you like it, enjoy!

Beautifuly detailed fern leaf illustrations from Ferns: British and Exotic (1856–1860) by the renowned botanist Edward Joseph Lowe (1825–1900). From a young age, Lowe was fascinated by meteorology and astronomy as well as having a great interest in ferns. This led to an extensive botanical study, resulting in eight illustrated volumes of Ferns: British and Exotic. We have digitally enhanced some of these incredible fern illustrations into high-resolution printable quality. They are free to download under the CC0 license.
