MAY 24 2009 -- At the inaugural commencement exercises of the Elon University School of Law, 107 members of the charter class received their Juris Doctor degrees, marking a major milestone for the school founded on the principle that a legal education should prepare students to be not only excellence lawyers but also leaders in their communities. David Gergen received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the ceremony, and delivered the commencement address.
Noel L. Allen, a member of the Elon University Board of Trustees and the Law School Advisory Board, provided welcoming remarks at the ceremony. Melanie Y. Crenshaw delivered the student address. We went to the park early in the morning, and there were people that were exercising. I wanted to just take a picture of them, but my dad told me to go join them... I jumped in long enough for him to snap the shot.
Similar to this, but more lighting was used for a different effect.

I needed an excuse to play with my strobes at night.
I guess I'm easily amused.

Nothing like a few pull-ups to get you going in the morning - as long as you eat as you exercise !!
Bit of a failed shot as it was a grab the camera only to loose the first shot as it was still on the 2 second timer from some previous tripod work . Sorted that only to carry on shooting ( from indoors ) and the iso was left on 200 and on a dark and grimzle day this shot was near black on the screen . Managed to raise it to this as I thought the pose was worth keeping if I could ,
