Brmal executions. massacres and lies will not douse the flames of liberation in Eezham! .
The new photographic evidences that testify the cold-blooded .
murder of 12 year old Balachandran, son of LTIE leader .
Prabhakaran, does not bring to fore any new fact so to speak .
The inhuman brutalities committed by the fascist Lankan state during its last genocidal war that killed close to a million Eezham Tamils, the barbaric torture and massacres and the targeted murder of the political leadership of the l TIE are all indisputable facts that have been known all along. Therefore, the evidences of Balakrishnan's murder is not really a revelation But it is another occasion for us to remind ourselves-to not forgive and forget -the brutal attempts to suppress the national liberation struggle of the people of Eezham .
A cold-blooded execution: A series of photographs taken a few hours apart and on the same camera, show Balachandran sitting in a bunker, alive, apparently in the custody of Sri Lankan troops. Another, a few hours later, shows the boy's body lying on the ground, his chest riddled with bullets. The authorities al'vvays said Prabhakaran's son was "killed in cross-fire", as Lankan troops moved in to take the L TIE's last stronghold, located near Mullai1ivu in the north-east of the country. But the images clearly testify to the fact that the boy, like countless other, was captured alive and executed in cold-blood. He was shot at .
close range five times in the chest. Even after such naked evidence, the impunity and audacity enjoyed by the mass-murderers is reflected in Brigadier PR Wanigasooriya, the an Sri Lankan army spokesman's immediate statement: "Sri Lanka had been a repeated victim of lies, half truths, rumours, and numerous fonns of speculations. No substantive evidence have been presented for us to launch an investigation"! The calculated execution of a 12 year old boy, or for that matter Prabhakaran and most of the L TTE leadership and the photographed or videographed copies of the same celebrated as "war-trophies" only serve to demonstrate the impunity of the perpetrators of the fascist genocide .
A war without witness: The genocidal war waged on the Eezham Tamils in 2008, was one of the most brutal and bloodiest wars of the 2151 century. The war continued for over a year and it 'ended' after the killing of more than 80,000 Tamils in Mu'l'livaaykkaal alone, using banned chemical weapons like the thennobaric bombs and nerve gases and after displacing half a million. It bombed schools, hospitals, civilian areas, closed down UN offices, stopped all media entry to the War zone', and embargoed all humani1arian aid. Israeli planes, Chinese bombs, Indian intelligence and US tactics were unleashed on the people. Many surrendered L TTE leadership and cadres were murdered or stripped naked and .

This maple in front of my neighbor's house has a red dot sprayed on it, mostly likely meaning that it will be destroyed. Right now it is full of beautiful green leaves.
"This area's cleared," said Monn. "But we don't stop until we've cleared out this entire base. Don't stop, we're almost there. Push on!"
"I stood at the cliff-edge, listening to the waves crash on the crescent-shaped strand below. This was the beach where Damas executed its criminals and traitors; Father had been slaughtered here. Some nights, I came here to weep as I envisioned his death, but tonight I felt distant, removed from those emotions, instead overcome by silence and watchfulness."
