On March 16 2018, Brookings Economic Studies’ Center on Regulation and Markets hosted a discussion on how to create a smarter, more efficient approach to infrastructure. At the start of the event, U.S. Department of Transportation Under Secretary Derek Kan discussed the president’s new infrastructure initiative. Following Kan’s remarks, a panel of experts explored how to implement infrastructure projects that save American taxpayer dollars while delivering the infrastructure investment that Americans deserve. Lastly, Representative Brian Babin (R-TX) spoke about his district's infrastructure policy efforts and gave closing remarks.

Dr. Hyde is one of the regional organizers. He brings a group with him from Yellow Springs to the prison for executions. He says he used to bring everyone in a big van but that has become too expensive and now people carpool. He is retired from his medical practice, but is still a volunteer chaplain at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, Ohio.
The execution room at Seodaemun Prison. The preferred method of execution by the Japanese during the occupation: hanging.
Seodaemun Prison was built during the Japanese occupation (1910-1945) to keep Korean "dissidents" -- Koreans who rather valued national independence -- in line. The conditions were pretty barbarous, to say the least, and included torture along with other inhumane treatment.

People attend the executions in Lucasville from all over the state. This day, groups have come from Cincinnati, Yellow Springs and Cleveland, with some local residents attending. According to one of the demonstrators, in the past busloads of students have come from Dayton and Cleveland to participate in the vigils.

We found a museum that had a bunch of old "video games". This was one of the many there. Sorry about the angle.
Executions
When originally designed by Lanyon, the prison did not contain a gallows and the executions were carried out in public view until 1901, when an execution chamber was constructed within the prison walls and used until the last of the hangings in 1961. Seventeen prisoners were executed in the prison, the last being Robert McGladdery who was hanged in 1961 for the murder of Pearl Gamble. The condemned would live in a cell, large enough for two guards to live in as well. The bodies of the executed were buried inside the prison in unconsecrated ground, against the back wall beside the prison hospital. The execution of Tom Williams, a nineteen-year-old member of the IRA, took place on 2 September 1942; he was hanged for the slaying of an RUC officer. The hangman in charge was Thomas Pierrepoint, the gaol's most regular hangman, who carried out six executions in the gaol between 1928 and 1942. Williams was one of two executed prisoners whose remains were disinterred and buried elsewhere.
The Crumlin Road Gaol dates back to 1845 and closed its doors as a working prison in 1996.
HMP Belfast, also known as Crumlin Road Gaol, is a former prison situated on the Crumlin Road in north Belfast, Northern Ireland. Since 1996 it is the only remaining Victorian era prison in Northern Ireland. It is colloquially known as the Crum.
Savonarola, a Dominican friar, was instrumental in creating a popular republic in Florence after the Medici family was expelled. He was an ascetic, very much against sin and objects that might facilitate sin, and he organised a bonfire of the vanities in 1497. He was excommunicated in 1497 and in 1498 public opinion turned against him. He was arrested and burnt at the stake.
There are several reasons behind the increasing demand for the warehouse execution software in the market. It is proving to be a highly beneficial solution in driving higher efficiency, productivity, and throughputs within the facility.
