We took our daughter and her two friends on a trip to the Excel Centre in London's Docklands today, it was the Anime and Manga Show, they were dressed for the part, we had a great day, more pictures to come
The new Rover gearbox still attached to the engine, compared with the Toyota Supra 5 speed box.
For installation purposes, we need to have the gear lever position as close to the front of the engine, so that it does not fowl the backbone chassis. (18)

Although less than 1000 pieces, I bought this puzzle as the picture and printing on the box reminded me of some of the Arrow puzzles.
Assembly was straightforward and after sorting a couple of hours saw this one to completion.
The initial sort was into four groups: land and sky, water, boats, and edge pieces.
Starting with the horizon, then filling out the remainder, built the "above water" section first.
Next came the boats, then the water section in the middle to join everything together. It was at this point that I realised there would most likely be a piece missing, despite a couple of tick marks on the box.
Finished off by putting the edge pieces in place. Oddly enough possibly a little more difficult than had I assembled them at the beginning to produce an empty frame.
1 piece missing :-(
Haven't seen or heard of the Excel brand previously, but as above the overall quality would be similar to the Arrow jigsaws of that vintage. The copyright statement is for Mauriane Trading Pty. Ltd. Melbourne Australia.
In a possibly vain attempt to try and complete jigsaw puzzles faster than I buy them, I'll note the number of puzzles and pieces waiting to be completed.
TO DO: 37 puzzles (48900 nominal pieces).
We're here! It's the ExCel centre.
(Daniel Burka totally passed us after we took this photo, and it wasn't until a minute later I thought: "Wow, that looked like Daniel! It was!")
