The swan-neck shaped silencers were made "fatter" than what I original wanted. Here they are offered up, and it is apparent that they will protrude too much from the bodywork, so we are experimenting with re-profiling and lowering the boot floor so that it will blend in with the silencers.
I'm really fortunate in having a 4 poster lift - its easy to car to be at the optimum height to work on - the lift has been up and down sop many times on this project
Lotus Excel SA. The Excel was (Type 89) followed on from the Lotus Eclat which itself was derived from the Type 75 Elite. The Excel SA was launched in 1987 with 4-speed automatic transmission.
