I want to place a chrome trim around the rear side window - making a sophisticated shape in metal and then having it chromed, is a massive project - so I managed to find a firm that could chrome a fibreglass moulding - here is the fibreglass article in the process of being made, which will be sent away to the chrome platers

Dashboard - work in progress. This is a bit frightening!! Wires, bare fibreglass, trying to work out what to do. The idea is to copy the concept of the original 1974 Lotus Elite. I want to be able to see real wood, and this is one job that I can do myself!! We have made considerable alteration's to the original, but it is basically only fine tuning.
