Charts similar to this are used to demonstrate relatedness according to Neo-Darwinistic Evolution. Lines are drawn based on observed similarities not only in physical features, but also in their assembly instructions. However, no explanation is offered to explain differences. The XR6 and XR8, for example, are in many ways identical, but changing a six cylinder motor into an eight cylinder motor gradually, step by step, is impossible.

porque andar com as duas rodas no chão qualquer um anda..

It's a given that I'll continue to be on here, and keep my photos up, and most likely renew my Pro status when it's due in April 2011, make no doubts about that - I'll be on here until something better comes along, that's a promise!

Besides, I've made a handful of friends on here, even within the recent week, that I'd like to stay in contact with, perhaps meet face to face with eventually.

I've also made friends online via PINKessence, and keep in touch with most of them via Facebook. (Check my profile for my links!)

I've done so much since coming out to a few of you on here in mid-April, and picking up the pace, gradually, culminating in taking my first steps out of the closet in early October. I'm still filled with a desire to reach out, experiment, and develop myself even more, and of course, share my journey, and glimpses into my life with as many of you as I can.

In a way, I'm more outgoing online than I am in person. The truth is, out in public with others, most of the time, I'm a bit shy, and at times, insecure. That also seems to extend to people I'm interested in meeting on here, but haven't really exchanged a lot of words with. Sometimes I see others that have hundreds, even thousands of contacts and friends, and I feel like, "What do I have to offer them that others don't?" - Sometimes, I feel like I'm just a small fish in a big pond. I have to remind myself that the world doesn't solely revolve around me, but at the same time, I'd love to have a few close friends that share most of my interests in music, movies, hobbies, books, other things of interest. (Toys, video/computer games, travel, etc.) - As I've said, I'd rather have a few close friends I feel I can be totally open about my life to, than contact in the hundreds or thousands that simply tune in to see if I've posted anything new, then forget about me if I go quiet for a while.

So, I'm at a rather shaky crossroads. I want to make contact with others, and cast my net wide, hopefully meet others with the same interests as I, but hopefully learn a few things from then, and maybe I may have something to offer them as well.

Anything to fill the hole in my heart and soul I'm currently feeling. I'll get better in time, but I won't forget where I've come from, and those who brought me out.

Things may change here, not dramatically, I hope, but change is a constant in my life.

Maybe, when I become more realized, and better able to blend in, and a bit more outgoing in person and online, maybe some more doors will be reopened, and ties re-established or strengthened....

Thank you for finding me, thank you for accepting me, and thank you for being a part of the journey.

I love you all, no matter how you found me, or how close you are...

Stay tuned, space travellers...

Today is the 11th birthday of Linkin Park's debut album "Hybrid Theory".

This album has great importance to me, as it was a huge turning point in my life and taste of music. I have loved their music ever since, and 11 years on, Im still loving their work. Over the years ive seen them live 4 times, I own every album on cd and I have even met the band and got a tshirt signed.

I'm a younger guy, so I dont really go back beyone cd players, but I thought this was a good picture of the electronic evolution of music

The evolution of a Sunrise, Mobius Arch.

The following three images were taken over the span of an hour or so as the sun crested above the Coso's range and began to light the Sierra Peaks. The Alabama Hills are full of natural arches and Mobius is without a doubt the most famous. However, despite its fame, its not the easiest place to find if you don't know what you're looking for. After driving around the night before and not noticing the trailhead I decided to consult the internet for advice. After finding some vague directions I set out at about 5am the next morning in an attempt find it for the sunrise. After finding what I hoped was the trail head I grabbed my gear and a flash light and set out in the dark on a small trail leading out amongst the giant boulders and rock formations.

This shot was taken about 45 minutes before sunrise. The early light was just beginning to peak over the Coso Range behind me to provide a bit of blue in an otherwise dark sky. The bright "star" to the right of the arch is actually Jupiter, just about to set for the day.

Evolution - Let there be Light. Dance into the Future en daarna Evolution - Let there be Light. Thx. Radio 538 voor de uitstekende organisatie. Hopelijk krijgt dit initiatief een vervolg volgend jaar.

In the next couple of weeks I am going build up three different bikes that represent the evolution of the mountain bike.

Rigid Indy Fab- In the early to mid 90's Fat Chance represented the apex of smart, fast and fun bikes. This is a replica of a close 2nd or a cousin- A Rhygin copy, replete with 1 inch headset. Indy Fab of course rose from the ashes of Fat when Chris Chance left Boston for upstate NY. Random Factoid: Rumor has it, confirmed by my own eyes, that many of the Fats that came during this period were actually made by FTW at Spooky.

Yeti- more of a semi classic as this is a 2008 version, NOT the true Durango made Arc. Fox F80 fork and a hodge podge of parts should make this a race rocket. Light and stiff.

Santa Cruz Nomad- The modern trail bike. Fox 36 and meaty tires make it the antithesis of the rigid Indy Fab.

Should be an interesting mix of bikes.

**btw, i had to put tomusan's image in here, i just love it so, but i doubt you had the lark ascending in your mind's eye.

for you other manipulate this crowd, i'd love to know about what you are listening to, or playing in your mind while you are working on these manipulations...
