Every acquisition that we do in our lives, comes at a price. This price, however, is not measured in gold or silver, but in the currency of life itself.
When every second you are breathing you feel the urge to be close to someone
So close that you can touch and feel them with the whole of your being
All cuddled up
Being 16 in a grown up body

Every week at school we get a board assignment. Basically we come up with a photograph relating to the theme given for that week, we print a 8x10 of it, put it up in the school, and the staff have green dots they put next to the photos they like for the week. At the end of the year the photographer with the most green dots gets some sort of prize. This weeks theme is Season Change. I actually really like how it turned out. Wish me luck for those green dots ;)
Every Tuesday evening during the summer months people gather at this little park in my neighborhood to dance the Tango.
It is an intimate and passionate dance....too bad Mike is not much of a dancer:(

If you live in a rural area and walk your dogs in the Fall and early Winter, you undoubtedly have had a run-in with these beautiful but maddeningly clingy Burdock burrs! They're beautiful pink thistle-like flowers in the Spring and Summer, and then morph into this seed head that sticks to everything.
How perfect that Burdock burrs were the inspiration for Velcro! :)

Every year for Christmas, our tour operator for South Africa trips sends these lovely handmade bead figurines to their customers. I already own an elephant, a rhino and a zebra. Yesterday this cute buffalo arrived.

Every autumn, Bewick’s Swans face a dangerous migration to the UK from northern Russia. Along their 3,500km route between the breeding and wintering sites there are predators, fewer wetlands and the risk of hitting power lines, but if they don’t migrate, they will be caught in the ice and snow of the arctic winter. In spring, they do it all again as they fly back to Russia.
This ringed Bewick's Swan was seen at the Slimbridge Wetlands Centre in Gloucestershire today. It will stay here for the winter.

This black and white seascape captures the ocean mid-whisper, foam curling, cresting, reaching for a shore it’s touched a thousand times before. The horizon stands distant and dark, like a lover who left but never truly disappeared. There’s motion here, but also stillness. A rhythm of longing. A pulse of remembrance.
The sea doesn’t forget. It carries every echo, every goodbye, every promise made beneath a fading sky. The waves roll in like unfinished sentences, like letters never sent. And the foam, bright against the dark water is the punctuation of emotion, the breath between heartbeats.
This image is for those who’ve stood at the edge of something vast and felt both small and infinite. It’s for the ones who wait, who remember, who believe that love, like the tide always finds its way back.

Every time I jump on my bike, I ride like a loose cannon. I really admire Andie for having the courage to ride with me. Even though it was a bit challenging for her to hold on tight and not fall off, she handled it like a champ.
