I have no idea if this Lady bug was on the Tulips and I brought her home or it was in the house,
Ladybugs usually survive the cold by hibernating. When the temperature drops their body functions slow down and they go to sleep, not to wake again until it gets warmer. amazing facts when Ladybug lives only 21 days,
In October they will come to the house thru cracks of shingles, They are 500 varieties in the USA and 5000 worldwide.
Happy Sunday!
Every spring I try to get to BBG for this shot. Not sure if I missed the best Cherry blooms or if they are yet to come, but this was the scene a few days ago. There are some trees here yet to bloom, but I think these are at peak. It's always a gamble every year.
This is the train driver of the magnificent steam loco, the Union of South Africa, that took us down to Weymouth on Sunday.
Union of South Africa is an LNER Class A4 steam locomotive built in Doncaster in 1937. It is one of six surviving Gresley A4s, currently operational and mainline certified. It was briefly renamed Osprey during part of the 1980s and 1990s due to political opposition against apartheid South Africa at the time.

Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining.. I was fast asleep in bed at 8am when the Postman knocked with a parcel, otherwise I would have missed this. I feel guilty about swearing at him now.
I hike and photograph in Aman Park about once every two weeks. It is a wonderful area for photographers and it is only a few minutes from my home. In an effort to alter my usual routine of two cameras with wide-angle zoom lenses, I connected my 90 mm macro lens to one of them and focused on little things. I was surprised at the number of opportunities I found for some quality macro images.

Not easily accessible , this site I came across while driving a road near by. I had to stop and find a way to reach here, and I managed to do so. Soon after this I had a feeling that few might follow seeing me here from the road and within 30 minutes there were two more groups that approached seeing me (knowing that they too can come here). The view was fantastic and here is one of the images I took there.
Enjoy!
...takes its own time to bloom..

I wasn't going to post this. I thought it was a bit boring perhaps? I wasn't sure how I felt about the shot. It didn't evoke anything in me at all when I first edited it. Today though, it sparked enough interest when I saw it again in my archives to post it, so here it is. :)
For those of you that are wondering, this is the view from the sun roof of my truck after a rain.

Every June Summerfest comes to Windsor, Ontario’s riverfront. Carnival rides and food booths set up in Festival Plaza in front of Caesars Windsor gambling casino.
Every morning during the Corvid 19 lockdown I am walking around the lake in my local park just as the sun is coming up. It has brought some great opportunities to capture sunrises and to spend time with the wildlife. This particular pair of swans are a new pairing. The male had a lifetime mate and she died earlier this year. This was a sad event but the cob flew off and returned about a week later with a new mate. It is lovely to watch them together. I do not think we will have cygnets this year, but maybe next year we can look forward to them again.

They say, every cloud has a silver lining. Sometimes golden too! This was a Port MacDonnell sunset on a wild and stormy day.
Happy Nice Wonderful Clouds Tuesday!
In Every Breath (Rumi)
In every breath
if you’re the centre
of your own desires
you’ll lose the grace
of your beloved
but if in every breath
you blow away
your self claim
the ecstasy of love
will soon arrive
in every breath
if you’re the centre
of your own thoughts
the sadness of autumn
will fall on you
but if in every breath
you strip naked
just like a winter
the joy of spring
will grow from within
all your impatience
comes from the push
for gain of patience
let go of the effort
and peace will arrive
all your unfulfilled desires
are from your greed
for gain of fulfillments
let go of them all
and they will be sent as gifts
fall in love with
the agony of love
not the ecstasy
then the beloved
will fall in love with you

Almost every day, I walk to a pond not too far from here, where there's always a lot of water fowl activity.
There are these 4 ducks, three whites (one tufted) and a black. They are always together, and they always come up, out of the water and over to me when they see me. I'm sure they're hoping I'll feed them, but I don't.
But I talk to them. I tell them they should never eat bread, it's bad for them. And I take their photos.
Yesterday, this fellow came by with a bag of seed and was trying to feed the geese who didn't seem interested and swam away.
I pointed to these 4 who were swimming farther out and told him if you toss it, they will come.
And they did.
They were so cute, not aggressive, but standing at his feet like little dogs looking imploringly up at him.
I had the zoom lens on the camera and no time to change, so couldn't get a clear photo. I tried backing away, but the ducks just followed me. We sometimes walk together......I think we may be friends by now, or more likely they continue to hope I'll feed them.
This isn't very clear, and I obviously edited it.
It's the formal studio portrait. ;-)
Every image tells a story but when viewing this image you'd never guess how it came to be.
I was on a mission to get to the North Algodones Dunes Wilderness in Southern California on the Mexican border before Sunset... I left Phoenix Az. early enough, I thought, to drive the 211 miles, but I had only been there one other time and I thought I would have plenty of time to shoot the Sunset and then some...I was a bit off in my calculation.
I barely made it in time to capture just a few images before the Sun was gone and I was left standing there in darkness. On any other night, like a Moonless night, that would have been fine, but it was a full moon, and the clouds of a storm was moving fast across the desert.
I am happy with the images I was able to capture. Next time, I'll make sure I have plenty of time to travel the two-lane, winding road to get there.

Every major museum of modern art has a Serra. His rusty steelwork is a must-have. It's basic, bold, and very American.
The installation is an important aspect because it pushes the boundaries of the building. This massive sculpture, permanently on show at the Dia Foundation in Beacon (NY), looks like a ship. From this angle, it becomes very active, as if it's rocking the building to break free.
Hi Hi! I hope you are having a really good day!
