Eurasian siskin (Spinus spinus) is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. It is also called the European siskin, common siskin or just siskin.
European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis), Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A small group of these birds, including at least one juvenile, perched on this tree for just a short moment before moving on. This image was taken from quite far away, but I still liked the setting.

This female caught three voles in a row, it might look a bit discusting if you look closely but i was amazed how precisely it removed the guts while feeding, Bavaria, Germany
