Questo forte fu originariamente costruito dai russi nel XIX secolo. Dal 1919 fu modernizzato dall'esercito polacco. Ha visto pesanti combattimenti nel settembre 1939 ed è stato ulteriormente modernizzato dall'esercito tedesco nel periodo 1939-1940. Il forte fu fatto saltare in aria durante il ritiro delle truppe tedesche nel 1945.
This fort was originally constructed by the Russians in the 19th Centuty. From 1919, it was modernised by the Polish army. It saw heavy fighting in September 1939 and was further modernised by the German army in the period 1939-1940. The fort was blown up by retreating German troops in 1945.
