Iceland 10 krónur struck on a centre piece from a bi metal coin. It is a centre piece because the edge still holds the special mating surface that these coins carry internally.

The coin is very thin and slightly wedge shaped due to the off center strike.

Interestingly, a small portion of the coin made contact with the collar die and thus received some milling.

Camera died on me today :o(

Taking lots of shots today and then suddenly 'Wham!' Won't take any more pictures, just gives me an 'Err 99' mesage when I try to take a shot.

I've sent in a support request to Canon, but it's Saturday night and I don't expect to hear from them till at least Monday or Tuesday. Heading into the place of purchase first thing in the morning to see if anything can be done.

I'll get around to uploading a few shots taken today later on, but for now, here's the last shot my camera took.
