The numeral 50 which was supposed to be printed on the reverse has been printed on above right portion
I got an error message telling me to enter a properly formatted phone number. From my POV, I am not sure what is improper about the format, but apparently 13092125465 is the winner, which was a lucky guess on my part.
Would have been nice to show the proper format before I entered it, or at least when the error occurred.

In this Amsterdam tram the Narrowcasting screens were showing a Windows error message. The telephone number is even blocked out.
Aaaagh! That's bad!
First time seeing this kind error popping up on Facebook, not that bad after all: the message is maybe a bit technical but error handling was pretty much graceful.

(update... it appears to be working again... whew! um, though I wasn't really going to order anything right this moment... still, it makes me nervous when amazon is down. I start to wonder... is the world coming to an end? Is this the first sign of the 'pocyclipse?)

The hazards of leaving at 6am: instead of programming my GPS for the William Penn Hotel it was set for a church in Lynbrook NY. "Our Lady of Peace" is a wonderful church but they don't have many discussions of IBM software products there. Fortunately, I noticed just after leaving Tim Horton's and so was able to re-set the destination for Pittsburgh.
It lives! A fairly 'to the point' letter to Canon resulted in them not only fixing the E18 error but also replacing the lens (scratched by the automatic lens cover - "a fairly major design flaw" I pointed out to them). They did this as a 'goodwill' gesture - no fee. They also offered to fix my old S70 for about half of that quoted by a authorised repair shop. I suppose I'll have to start using it again now?
