One of the most common species in the metropolitan area, it is abundant everywhere except for a few southern departments.

Males are bright red, females rather yellow with blueish underparts.

One of the criteria used for distinction among the Sympetrum genus is its entirely black legs.

this old shooting was done with the intention to capture a rainbow. I had not paid much attention, because the result on the small screen of the Nikon seemed very ugly : )

When I loaded a computer I saw that the rainbows were two, and with the cable of light taken at the center could be the background for something fancy.

This is the result, I hope you like it:)
