Some 3 months before I started taking bus photographs seriously, I snapped RMC1495 through the car windscreen somewhere near Epping on 5/2/67.
The Green Line coach is on route 718.
A train of 1960 stock, having arrived from Ongar, a service often worked by this stock in the final years.
Now a preserved railway, but in June 1981 it was the most surprising part of the London Underground. This is between North Weald and Blake Hall.
RT3871 on route 339, in Station Road, Epping having just turned out from Epping station. On the way to North Weald on the Epping Ongar Railway.
It's still very wet in the ancient woodland, and all the dips and hollows are holding water, which on a quiet day makes for peace, tranqulity and reflections galore.
A fairly bland bridge...but world famous!

When "the" photo was taken in 1979 by Kevin Cummins, mobile (cell) phones being owned by pretty much everyone wasn't a thing. The mast has appeared since of course and I thought it might make a submission for the Telegraph Tuesday Flickr group HTT!
No attempt to recreate Kevin's photo here. Apart from a 'nod' with the monochrome aspect.
Two of my favourite cover versions of all time are of Joy Division songs. New Dawn Fades by Moby and Shadowplay by The Killers (who we were fortunate to see in Manchester last year).

So liebe Partnerin,
hier mal ein kurzer Zwischenstand. Leider hatte ich recht wenig Zeit hier zu posten, aber ich hoffe du bist mit dem vorläufigen Ergebnis auch so zufrieden :)
Mittlerweile habe ich das gute Stück auch schon auf einen Hintergrund appliziert und bin nun am Überlegen wie ich es am besten quilte.
Ich bin soweit ganz zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis und hoffe du verzeihst mir kleine Fehler... war eben doch das erste Mal mit Hexies ;)
