An environment design, inspired by the valleys and mountains of New Zealand. In the far distance, a mysterious ice tower can be seen, embedded in a dark forest of vines and thorns. This environment is rather fantastical, with the magical element added to draw the audience’s eyes into the horizon. This piece was drawn and painted in FireAlpaca.

All of us, 7 billion people, share only one planet. This is our only home, so we have to take good care of it. Without caring and giving something back to our environment, there will be no future, especially for our children. And kids have dreams, they want to become teachers, doctors, firefighters, and news reporters among others – we must help them make these dreams come true by saving our environment. For this reason PATT planted 700 trees on the World Environment Day for all 7 billion dreams on this planet. But this couldn't be achieved without the help of kids from local Thai Bansubtai School. We are deeply grateful to all our donors who made this possible. Special thanks to the Master Shift, Xyleia, Ytsara and SafePrints for planting trees with us! These wouldn’t be possible also without dedicated individuals – huge hugs to Mark Blackburn, to the supporters of our Plant It Forward campaign, and to our PATT members. Some special trees were also planted in the memory of the late James F. Maxwell, who dedicated all his life to studying forests and teaching students about them here in Thailand. We can really achieve remarkable things when we get together and do something good for our environment.

World Environment Day was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal at Indian School Darsait on 5th June 2022. The children of KG II B presented the Environment Day assembly with the message ‘Go Green’. The programme began with the presentation of a potted plant.

Our principal was immensely happy and responded that he loved this gesture shown by our students today. The Vice Principal in her address mentioned about the importance of saving the environment for a better future

All the aspects that predominantly cater to save the environment campaign were showcased in the assembly. Under the guidance of our Coordinator and class teacher, the theme ‘Only one earth ‘was highlighted with clear dialogues, mesmerizing dances, and a melodious group song, ’The earth is our home’

The children were expressing their views and ideas clearly by skits and through a spellbinding mime. They drove home the importance of saving earth and the duties that we are bound to do towards keeping the earth a safe and healthy place to live in. They also portrayed the tremendous ill treatment that we are unknowingly causing to mar the aesthetic blessing that we have. They had the audience enthralled with their witty lines and actions.

Children of KG I had a colouring activity and KG II had an Environment day collage making activity. The entire school was a green zone with everyone dressed in green clothes and showing their solidarity with the theme of Go green.
