I’m so freaking over you
It hurts, so what do I do
We are very different
You know it too
With this song, we’re over
Even if I’m sad, staying sober
I’m okay
Just me myself and I
With a good mood, good morning
Starting a day without your nagging
Without hesitations
Erasing my memories with you
I think I’ll fly
Without you
Even the heaven is not envious
It has always been hell, probably
What should I do during the weekend
going out with what I like
What should I say now
playing it cool
Smiling every night, good night
It’s been really long time
A full glass of alcohol
The me
Who used to match everything to you
Is gone now
It hurts but
I’ll be OK
I’m so freaking over you
It hurts, so what do I do
We are very different
You know it too
With this song, we’re over
Even if I’m sad, staying sober
I’m okay
Just me myself and I
No more sad nights
There’s no more sadness left
The starts in my sky
I don’t need even one
I don’t got to save you
It’s not my problem
If my friends as about how you’re doing
I just shrug my shoulders, I don’t care
What should I do during the weekend
going out with what I like
What should I say now
playing it cool
Smiling every night, good night
It’s been really long time
A full glass of alcohol
The me
Who used to match everything to you
Is gone now
It hurts but
I’ll be OK
I’m so freaking over you
It hurts, so what do I do
We are very different
You know it too
With this song, we’re over
Even if I’m sad, staying sober
I’m okay
Just me myself and I
Tell me everything
“She looks happy”
I think I’m also like that
when I see myself smiling all night
I don’t know
Even if I was also hurt that time
How is this good, Oh
I’m so freaking over you
It hurts, so what do I do
We are very different
You know it too
With this song, we’re over
Even if I’m sad, staying sober
I’m okay
Just me myself and I
Me, myself and I
Me, Myself and I
A chilly night, first in the 40s, gives way to sun and morning breezes. An old spider's web garnishes withered bellflower pods.

Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture
I captured this scene some time ago but decided to return and shoot it at a slightly different composition. I like this image much better than the first.
Have a wonderful weekend my friends.. :-)
I love
how you try so hard
and how you do
being green
like the best of them.
It's not easy,
but you are.
Even now,
in this impossible time
you are.
And I
am envious of
you.

Kinda envious of these guys who usually gather at the seaside to chat. Life seems calm and relaxing for them. I bet their life is not as simple as I imagine it to be but at least they have sunrises and moments like this to share..and somehow that makes all the difference.
No one would have believed
in the last years of the 19th century
that human affairs where being watched
by intelligences that regarded this Earth with envious eyes,
slowly and surely they drew their plans against us.

Julchen läßt das Naschen nicht. Promt: In a cozy old kitchen with a wooden floor and warm lighting, a black and white Boston Terrier stands upright on two legs in front of the open door of a well-stocked, internally lit refrigerator, a sausage clamped between its front paws. The Boston Terrier gazes at its sausage with joy and wonder. A small cat sits next to it, watching enviously. Highly realistic and very detailed.

Given the current trend for young women of extending their eye lashes I am sure many would be a little envious at those of this Lesser Rhea.

The wise old fisherman.
An 80 year old bloke called Ross loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, "Pick me up."
He looked around and couldn't see anyone. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, "Pick me up."
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.
The man said, "Are you talking to me?"
The frog responded, "Yes, I'm talking to you."
"Pick me up then, kiss me💋 and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride."
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.
The frog said, "What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?
I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride."
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, "Nah, the hell with it. At my age I'd rather have a talking frog."
With age comes wisdom.
Who's that on top of Hen Cloud so early? So often when I go out, and it is a bright morning, if I think I've made an early start I'm surprised and slightly envious to see others already atop the landscape features. I just wish I had their freedom and get up and go! No, I'm not lazy!
Petra (Arabic: البتراء, Al-Batrāʾ; Ancient Greek: Πέτρα), originally known as Raqmu (Nabataean Arabic: الرقيم), is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. Petra lies on the slope of Jabal Al-Madbah in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah valley that run from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Established possibly as early as the 4th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataean Kingdom. The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs who invested in Petra's proximity to the trade routes by establishing it as a major regional trading hub.
The trading business gained the Nabataeans considerable revenue, and Petra became the focus of their wealth. The earliest recorded historical reference to the city was when an envious Greek dynasty attempted to ransack the city in 312 BC. The Nabataeans were, unlike their enemies, accustomed to living in the barren deserts, and were able to repel attacks by utilizing the area's mountainous terrain. They were particularly skillful in harvesting rainwater, agriculture and stone carving. The Kingdom's capital continued to flourish until the 1st century AD when its famous Al-Khazneh facade was constructed, and its population peaked at an estimated 20,000 inhabitants.
Encroaching troops of the Roman Empire in 106 AD forced the Nabataeans to surrender. The Romans annexed and renamed the Kingdom to Arabia Petraea. Petra's importance declined as sea trade routes emerged, and after a 363 earthquake destroyed many structures. The Byzantine Era witnessed the construction of several Christian churches. By 700, the city became an abandoned place where only a handful of nomads grazed goats. It remained an unknown place until it was rediscovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812, sparking renewed interest in the city.
The city is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. It is a symbol of Jordan, as well as Jordan's most-visited tourist attraction.
It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. UNESCO has described it as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage".
Innocent to the pestilence and madness that dominate the news from the human world; makes me almost envious of him even though I know he must have his own prejudices as well judging by that scar over his right eye. This black bear was in the ditch about 10 feet away safely taken from my truck oblivious to my presence fully immersed in eating dandelions until I turned up the music hoping to make eye contact when I took this shot, then he high-tailed it out of dodge. I guess he didn't like my taste in music. I believe Tom Petty was playing at the time.
*A gentle reminder we are ALL equal and all lives matter.
We don't have many black people living here in this town, maybe one or two families but I have to say they were always nicer to me than white people. I will never forget the kindness of Elmer Cooper who passed away many years ago. He took my stallion in when he was sick because I didn't have a barn at my rented farm. I did repay him with a few stud breedings but that was because I never liked owing anyone. I remember him saying I deserved better than what life handed me. Be kind to each other out there.
At my age I'm envious of anyone who has hair, let alone what appears to be luminous green hair. This couple were enjoying the view of Sidmouth and the Devon coast from the Connaught Gardens at the western end of Sidmouth's Esplanade. This delightful small Georgian seaside town sits between two large Devon red sandstone cliffs. It is one of my favourite places in the south-west of England.
Alone I stand,
Forgotten how to trust,
A title I am brand,
For the knife in my back thrust,
In envious lust,
A pack once thought,
Once united as one,
A battle together once fought.
Till our pack shrivelled down to none,
Now alone,
In haunting silence,
No pacts just on my own,
In daunting defiance,
Forgotten,
With all the loyalties won in wars,
My trust wilted and rotten,
Torn by deceits hateful claws,
A Wounded wolf still raw,
A lone wolf forever will I be,
A wounded wolf with scars I wore,
A lone wolf for everyone to see.

Killick Beach has the envious reputation as being one of Australia's best beaches.
Located at Crescent Head the beach shot to fame in the 1960's when it was discovered that the long and slow wave breaks were the idea location for long boards to surf.
That tradition continues even to today as surfers descend into the small township to test their skills at Killick Beach.
Crescent Head, New South Wales, Australia.
I have invested so much time trying to identify this subject and have come to a very weak conclusion that it is a Bristle-thighed-Curlew. There is another species of that nests in Alaska that looks so close that after what seemed like hours of photo matching…I just went with my gut.
After researching the BTC I became pretty envious of these guys. They spend their summers in Alaska nesting and raising their young. Once the young are five weeks old, they migrate south to the southern hemisphere to Micronesia, Fiji, Tuvalu, Tonga, Hawaiian Islands, Samoa and French Polynesia. A never-ending summer!
The young depart later when ready and can fly up to 3800+ miles at a time.
Taken on July 28th north of Nome Alaska.
Holywell Bay, Cornwall, UK
So the interloper from the foreign land of Hampshire was invited by The King of Godrevy to meet up again on my last night in the land of the pasty and cream tea - yes I traditionally put the jam on first although if in Devon I may have to hide the scone when I do so there.....but I digress!
Dom Haughton & I had agreed to shoot Holywell bay as it was a location near where I had moved onto. Tide was due to be low around sunset so I had an expectation that the beach would be fairly busy but hoped given the schools were back I might be able to get something usable.
This time I was in the car park first and it was Dom striding across the car park with his lightweight camera bag in tow this time. "Only got one lens" seems to be his normal greeting but this time he had his 80D with the fully articulated screen with him so I thought silently he must be planning some low level shooting and wanted to save his joints from the extra stress😃
It was a while before Golden Hour so we thought we would adjourn to a local pub to discuss the relative merits of mirrorless v DSLRs, what I thought of Ann's pasties (Get in touch!) and our preferences in beverages. Dom had some brand of lager that was unknown to me (but supposedly popular locally) whilst I reacquainted myself with a pint of Old Rattler Cider.
After a pleasant interlude we set off initially to shoot a scene with the soft light falling on the grasses as mentioned in Dom's post www.flickr.com/photos/126574513@N04/53196008728/in/datepo...
I'm still wondering what to do about the tent and various other things in that scene so I'll skip the commentary on that section of our meet-up for another time.
Eventually Dom set off down to some point on the beach only he knew where and I trailed along envious that he could pretty much return here whenever he wanted whilst i had to make do.
part way down the beach the shot above popped into my head and it took a few mins to find a spot with no humans lying on it that I could set up and get that rock on the left not touching the others.
I had to do multiple sets of bracketed shots and then time blend them to remove most of the interlopers! I decided to leave the person to the left of the rock, a swimmer in the sea and a certain Tog (doing some sort of contortion) just to the right of the rock.
If that bank of cloud on the horizon had not been present I was hopeful the sun would have set in the V in Gull Island but decided to shoot it whilst visible to get the colours and silhouette. I also liked that cloud at the top of the image.
More to come from Holywell bay and thanks again to Dom for an entertaining and hospitable visit.
Thanks for viewing.
