Still a WIP, but the low volume border has been added, just backing to make, basting, quilting and binding to do. This isn't going to be a large quilt - it will end up about 45" square.
PS: Kids playing with camera again - hence the reason the date says 2006.

I decided that I wanted to use my new mini mannequin to help portray a cliche.
The expression comes out of the U.S. Air Force test pilot program of the late 1940's.
The envelope refers to a plane's performance capabilities. The limits of the planes ability to fly at speeds and altitudes and under certain stresses define what is known as its performance envelope. It's an envelope in the sense that it contains the ranges of the plane's abilities.
But now it's an overused phrase in business...

Up next is a Sam's Club photo sleeve, perhaps my favorite of this entire album! I'm just a sucker for the Sam's Club “It's a Big Deal!” era graphics anyway, though. When compared to the old logo and the new logo, this era's logo – and accompanying design – just seems the most fun, in my opinion.

By uploading these 1990s photo sleeves, I'm meaning to showcase the past - nothing else. No copyright infringement, however old, is intended, nor am I responsible for any repercussions (humiliating or otherwise) you receive for attempting use of any expired coupons photographed. And as always, if you share or use my photos, I'd appreciate if you gave me credit. :)
My husband is a big fan of James Bond movies, and has a birthday coming in December. So I made this envelope for him and will have one of his birthday gifts in it. I made this from a calendar page. It is a scene from Dr. No, the first Bond film. Dr. No came out in 1962. I wouldn't be surprised if he likes the envelope better than the gift inside. My husband saves all of my handmade envelopes.
