My place, probably like everybody's, is full of paper. I didn't know where to start and took hours to come up with anything at all (since all the cool and beautiful things were done already by other people).
In the end I settled on this: Two lavender coloured envelopes on top of purple paper which I found looks like fabric close up. I had made a card some time ago and I found it again like this, with two envelope flaps covering the front.
I started with a few items and kept removing things until only the envelope was left. And then it was good.

Crazy Tuesday: Packaging
I tore open the layers of this padded packing envelope expecting to find a thin shield of bubble wrap. Instead, it was full of these little fluff bumps. Who knew?
When I was a child, handwritten letters were commonplace, but I rarely see one now. The letter in this image was written in 1832, folded and then sealed with red wax. The envelope beneath it is not connected, but was posted in 1896. These pieces of paper are links to real people from the 19th century. Nowadays we even have to wonder whether communications we receive were actually written by a human being at all. How times have changed.
For this week's Macro Mondays group theme, Paper.
The flying rainbows are already beginning to be seen in our skies, filling our fields with colour and life with their characteristic song. We are counting the days to enjoy these beauties again.
