The first page of my textbook showing the basic premise and the rules of the class in which it is used with a new baseball image thanks to Pierre-Olivier.
The citation is linked to Pierre-Olivier's photo page, should I ever put the page itself on the net. I have made the baseball player thinner and the shirt yellow as opposed to the original white to brighten up, and not blend in with, the page.
An illustration which I made for a piece of A2 English Language media coursework involving women's pseudonyms within the writing and publishing industry. I quite enjoyed it to be honest :).

Materials used in my tourism English (観光英語) class. Soon to be available at tekisuto.com (please cite).
The Japanese are generally so positive that there are few swear words, and avoidance of negative subjects like those dealt with here. At the same time, scholars of tourism point out that dark tourism, to sites related to negative things, are big business and may also have positive (and negative) ethical outcomes. While there are haunted spots, and Hiroshima and Nagasaki are two of the biggest tourist destinations in Japan, few of my students would think of showing a foreign tourist to a dark tourism spot, perhaps for the same reason that Americans tend not to be self critical. Additionally the word Tourism in Japanese (kankou) originates in the practice of showing the highlights of ones region - kankou means literally "see or show the lights".
But when there is money to be made they may be prepared to go dark, and Japan could become a dark tourism Mecca. There are so many sites that are completely un-tapped.

The first question is too difficult. The other questions are to test their use of adjectival clauses since it is assumed that they will not be able to remember the English names of the animals and they are not allowed to read the text in class.
I will be distributing all my materials that I can from tekisuto.com eventually.

In an audacious and ingenious plot, a marauding apostrophe escaped from Queen Anne’s Close in Twickenham recently (top). The Punctuation Police – known for their ruthless possessiveness – were immediately brought in, and by nightfall had tracked the fugitive down to a nearby beauty salon (above). A stand-off is now under way, but how long it will last is difficult to predict. Possibly several day’s.

I think that I like isolated images and text so much since this is what the world would need to look like if it made sense :-) As it is, however, I have never seen a thing in my life.

A public talk was held at Frances Morrison Public Library in downtown Saskatoon, Tuesday evening. Dr. Jim Harding spoke about Nuclear Waste and the need for a Nuclear Waste Ban for Saskatchewan. With a lifetime of expertise on the subject, Dr. Harding laid out the parts of the Nuclear Fuel Cycle that the nuclear industry does not talk about (does not dare talk about!). When citizens begin to inform themselves about Nuclear power, "The Industry" and the fact that since the Manhattan Project development of the Atom Bomb during WWII, there has been no solution to dealing with Nuclear Waste other than finding a "Willing Host Community" (English language obfuscation by NWMO). \
In the good old days, Nuclear waste was merely blasted sky high into and about the atmosphere. With nearly half of USA above ground testing at Los Alamos, being carried out in one year 1961-62, those that were spending any time outdoors would most certainly ingested nuclear waste into their bodies and carry it with them since.
The reaction in the bomb and the power plant is the same, only with different controls.
By way of explanation:
Torment? The pensive forward lean of Mr. Jim Sinclair in the photo would give clue to the inner torment to the Aboriginal leader and thinker. Mr. Sinclair spoke softly and calmly about the need for opportunities, employment, infrastructure, things to be proud of, in the northern communities, for lack of them, a large jail might surely be built!!
Mr. Sinclair's posture would bely the "Devil's Bargain" foisted on First Nation Peoples, and communities that "the opportunity" presented by NWMO is to "willingly host" the most horrid wastes of the Western World!...the world itself!
Some opportunity! Mr. Sinclair spoke of wanting to hear both sides (The sales people are on the Nuclear industry side, remember that, Jim!) and then the northern peoples when informed would decide.
Anxiety? Mark Bigland-Pritchard knows the problems, costs, hazards and horrid outcomes of the nuclear industry, it's mining, processing, transport,...and ultimately the dealing with waste. His posture displays anxiety in case by some slip of politics a nuclear waste dump might come into place. He is anxious to speak about the problems, inform as many people as he can.
Thanks to Mr. Sinclair and Mr. Bigland-Pritchard for taking the time to attend and speak of their thoughts and feelings.
