Over 90 newly certified law enforcement officers graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 during a ceremony held at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church (3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN).

More than 90 newly certified officers will graduate at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) during a ceremony to be held at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church at 3475 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage, Tenn. The event will coincide with the 50th anniversary celebration of TLETA as Tennessee’s leading law enforcement training organization.
On the lookout for traffic speeding on North West Marine Drive (30 km/hr limit) and cyclists without helmets. The Seaside Bicycle Route is not a highway but Vancouver by-law 2849 does apply. The ticket is $29.

I couldn't resist taking a photo of this Hummer H2 as it picked up a parking ticket on Hatton Garden. Well, who could?
On August 27th of 2009, in a joint investigation involving the drug task force, the Laurie Police Department, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, two Hispanic males were arrested in the city of Laurie on suspicion of drug trafficking.
On August 24th of 2009 a FedEx package was intercepted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The package was found to contain approximately 5 pounds of marijuana and was to be delivered to Pedro Garza at 109 Mooreview Drive in Laurie Missouri.
On the afternoon of August 27th of 2009 a drug task force officer delivered the FedEx package to an apartment at 109 Mooreview Drive. The residents of this apartment were questioned and later released. Two Hispanic males, tentatively identified as Pedro Garza-Cantun, age 41 and Cesar Villalobos-Suarez, age 32 were arrested enroute to the apartment to take delivery of the package.
Garza-Cantun and Villalobos-Suarez were questioned and admitted to being illegal aliens. Garza-Cantun did confess his role in the shipment of marijuana and did give his consent to a search of his residence.
On the evening of August 27th of 2009 officers of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office went to the residence of Garza-Cantun located at 361 Chimney Point in Sunrise Beach. These officers recovered $8,260.00 in cash, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and approximately one half pound of Cocaine.
Garza-Cantun and Villalobos-Suarez are currently being held in the Morgan County Jail on a detainer warrant as illegal aliens. The investigation is ongoing and federal charges will be requested through the United States Attorney’s Office in Jefferson City. The combined street value of the drugs seized was approximately $30,000.00.
