NGC 7000 is an extensive, ionized gas cloud in the constellation Cygnus, which is illuminated by the UV light from nearby stars.
The nebula gets its name, the North America Nebula (NGC 7000), due to its shape, which resembles a map of the North American continent.
Iām showing a portion of it, commonly referred to as The Great Wall.
The gas nebula is located between 2,000 and 3,000 light years away (its exact distance is difficult to determine due to its size) and is primarily composed of hydrogen, some of which appears in ionized form, emitting visible light as deep red radiation.

Este documental las muestra de cerca, dando a conocer todos sus secretos.
Las libĆ©lulas son unos perfectos cazadores del cielo. La especie apenas ha cambiado en cientos de miles de aƱos, con una antigĆ¼edad de 320 millones de aƱos; son unos perfectos cazadores del cielo siendo depredadores de mariposas, insectos diversos e, incluso, otras libĆ©lulas. Al ser de sangre frĆa necesitan el sol para sobrevivir.
Las libĆ©lulas u Odonatos son insectos esencialmente veraniegos. Son unos animales fascinantes, con unas caracterĆsticas biolĆ³gicas que nos facilitan su observaciĆ³n. Los adultos de las libĆ©lulas estĆ”n entre los insectos mĆ”s grandes y espectaculares: sus extraordinarios coloridos, sus fenomenales acrobacias en el vuelo y sus peculiares caracterĆsticas biolĆ³gicas hacen de ellas unos seres fascinantes. Esos colores en sus abdĆ³menes son claves para la diferenciaciĆ³n de las especies siendo relativamente fĆ”ciles de reconocer con un poco de prĆ”ctica.
Se han identificado en el mundo unas 5.700 especies, viviendo la mayorĆa de ellas en los trĆ³picos. En Europa habitan unas 120 especies y 77 de ellas en la PenĆnsula IbĆ©rica.
Las libƩlulas se localizan mejor en puntos de agua dulce (en movimiento o estancada) y cuando hace calor. La salinidad es incompatible con la vida de las libƩlulas en su fase larvaria, pero condiciones de baja salinidad son toleradas por ciertas especies. Sin embargo, muchas libƩlulas pueden encontrarse lejos del agua: prados, claros de bosque, bordes boscosos, caminos, etc. Especies asustadizas como varias de la familia Gomphidae, son mƔs fƔciles de localizar en estos lugares.

Los peculiares hĆ”bitos reproductores del cuco, basados en el parasitismo, constituyen, sin duda, la principal seƱa de identidad de este pĆ”jaro migrador e insectĆvoro, cuya dieta se basa en el consumo de larvas de diferentes lepidĆ³pteros. MĆ”s de un centenar de especies de pequeƱas y medianas aves insectĆvoras pueden llegar a ser vĆctimas del sorprendente comportamiento parĆ”sito de este popular cucĆŗlido.
DescripciĆ³n y ClasificaciĆ³n

Longitud 32-36 cm. Envergadura 54-60 cm.
IdentificaciĆ³n
Esta ave, de tamaƱo medio y aspecto estilizado, se caracteriza por poseer una larga cola y unas alas apuntadas, por lo que su silueta puede confundirse en vuelo con la de una pequeƱa rapaz, como el cernĆcalo vulgar o el gavilĆ”n. En la coloraciĆ³n del macho dominan los tonos grises, sobre todo en el dorso, la cabeza y el cuello. Por su parte, las regiones ventrales son blancas, pero finamente barreadas. La hembra puede lucir dos tipos de plumaje: uno grisĆ”ceo, muy parecido al del macho, y otro rojizo, bastante menos frecuente que el anterior. Los inmaduros se asemejan en parte a las hembras de fase rojiza, aunque tienen las plumas orladas de blanco y una caracterĆstica mancha blanca en la nuca.
Canto
El canto habitual del macho consiste en un caracterĆstico y reconocible cuu-cu, cuu-cu bisilĆ”bico, que repite regularmente en largas sesiones. La estrofa puede acelerarse nerviosamente cuando entra en contacto con la hembra, la cual produce un trino burbujeante y muy rĆ”pido: guik-kui-kui-kui-kui-kui. A veces emiten otros sonidos roncos y Ć”speros.

Gaur herds are led by an old adult female, the matriarch. Adult males may be solitary. During the peak of the breeding season, unattached males wander widely in search of receptive females. No serious fighting between males has been recorded, with size being the major factor in determining dominance. Males make a mating call of clear, resonant tones which may carry for more than 1.6 km (1 mi). Gaur have also been known to make a whistling snort as an alarm call, and a low, cow-like moo.
The gaur (Bos gaurus; /É”aŹÉr/), also known as the Indian bison, is a bovine native to South Asia and Southeast Asia, and has been listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1986. The global population was estimated at a maximum of 21,000 mature individuals in 2016, with the majority of those existing in India. It is the largest species among the wild cattle and the Bovidae. The domesticated form of the gaur is called gayal (Bos frontalis) or mithun. The Sanskrit word ą¤ą„ą¤° gaura means 'white, yellowish, reddish'. The Sanskrit word gaur-mriga means a kind of water buffalo. The gaur is the largest extant bovid. It is a strong and massively built bovine with a high convex ridge on the forehead between the horns, which protrudes anteriorly, causing a deep hollow in the profile of the upper part of the head. There is a prominent ridge on the back. The ears are very large. In the old bulls, the hair becomes very thin on the back. The adult male is dark brown, approaching black in very old individuals. The upper part of the head, from above the eyes to the nape of the neck, is ashy grey, or occasionally dirty white. The muzzle is pale coloured, and the lower part of the legs are pure white or tan. The cows and young bulls are paler, and in some instances have a rufous tinge, which is most marked in groups inhabiting dry and open areas. The tail is shorter than in the typical oxen, reaching only to the hocks. They have a distinct ridge running from the shoulders to the middle of the back; the shoulders may be as much as 12 cm (4.7 in) higher than the rump. This ridge is caused by the great length of the spinous processes of the vertebrae of the fore-part of the trunk as compared with those of the loins. The hair is short, fine and glossy; the hooves are narrow and pointed.
Where gaur have not been disturbed, they are basically diurnal. In other areas, they have become largely nocturnal due to human impact on the forest. In central India, they are most active at night, and are rarely seen in the open after 8 o'clock in the morning. During the dry season, herds congregate and remain in small areas, dispersing into the hills with the arrival of the monsoon. While gaur depend on water for drinking, they do not seem to bathe or wallow. R_39034

The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. Itās a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. Thatās why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

Se nĆ£o fosse o chamamento que emite frequentemente na primavera, o torcicolo passaria certamente despercebido. Esta ave singular notabiliza-se pelo seu hĆ”bito de girar o pescoƧo. Pequena ave da famĆlia dos pica-paus. A plumagem castanha e cinzenta tem um aspecto crĆptico, tornando esta ave difĆcil de detetar, especialmente quando pousada nos troncos das Ć”rvores. O canto caracterĆstico que o torcicolo emite na primavera Ć© o principal meio de deteĆ§Ć£o desta espĆ©cie.Pouco comum mas nĆ£o raro, o torcicolo distribui-se de forma esparsa pelo territĆ³rio nacional. Localmente, como em certas zonas do nordeste, pode ser bastante comum. Ć uma ave principalmente estival, que estĆ” presente entre nĆ³s de abril a outubro, embora ocasionalmente se observe no inverno, no sul do paĆs. Gustav Krueger is a German criminal with a 7-foot (2.1 m) long bionic tail that emits sonic shockwaves to mimic his reptile namesake.
Hailing from Germany, Rattler was given a bionic tail which he uses to create shockwaves and vibrations. This proved very useful in his first confrontation with Captain America, during the Rattler's initiation into the Serpent Society. He and his fellow Serpents Cobra and Anaconda were ambushed by the hero, but Rattler was able to use his tail to stop Captain America's shield from doing any damage. With the other Serpent Society members, he was hired by A.I.M. to hunt down MODOK. He later battled Captain America again after being tricked by the Porcupine, along with Diamondback, Death Adder, and Cottonmouth. During the ensuing fight with Captain America, Rattler used his bionic tail to send vibrations coursing through the hero's body, disorienting him. However, he was eventually thrown into a pillar by his tail, knocking him out for the battle. Rattler, Cottonmouth, and Death Adder were sent to jail, but freed from jail by Sidewinder. Alongside Cottonmouth, Rattler confronted Kingpin's men over the Death Adder's murder.
The Rattler joined Viper during her invasion of the Serpent Society, and battled the Falcon. He subsequently followed Cobra's instructions when he became leader. He participated in the Serpent Society mission to recover mystic objects for Ghaur and Llyra. During the battle with the X-Men after Longshot had found the missing artifact they were searching for, Rattler created an avalanche by rattling his tail, though this took both Longshot and Rattler out in the process. Rattler voted against Diamondback during the Serpent Society's trial of her; alongside the Serpent Society, he then battled Captain America, Paladin, and Diamondback. The Rattler also participated in the battle against Force Works, where he initiated use of his "Rattling Gun", a gun that could supposedly create enough seismic waves to rattle someone's ribcage apart. He was eventually defeated by Hank Pym.
He has been seen as member of the Serpent Society under Cobra's leadership. After the group had captured and chained Captain America and Diamondback (really an L.M.D.) in this underground New York headquarters the pair escaped. S.H.I.E.L.D. subsequently took Rattler and the rest of the Society into custody.
Very little is known about Rattler's past. He was very popular with the ladies of the Serpent Society, as Black Mamba recommended him to Diamondback for a "good time."
Rattler joined the group of criminals aiding the Thunderbolts during The Civil War, alongside fellow Serpent Society members Cobra and Bushmaster.
He appeared in Brand New Day as one of the villains in the bar.
Rattler was apparently killed by Scourge but later resurfaced as as a member of Viper's "all-new, all-different" Serpent Society under its new name of Serpent Solutions.
Rattler possesses a 7-foot (2.1 m) long artificial bionic tail attached through surgery to his spine and lower back, which he can use for a variety of tasks, including grasping small objects, hanging by his tail, and as a bludgeon. He also has the ability to generate sonic vibrations by activating mechanisms in the "rattle" at the tip of the tail for various effects, including creating shockwaves, deflecting projectiles, and inducing vertigo, disorientation, unconsciousness, internal hemorrhaging, and possible death in opponents.
Rattler is 85% deaf in both ears and wears electronic hearing aids in his cowl. He possesses fang-like teeth.

Apparently the guy Calhoun, who the lake was named after, was pretty racist, so the city of Minneapolis is taking legal steps to totally abandon that name, restoring the original name: Bde Maka Ska.
