Vintage recycled tablecloth transformed into a Glove keepsake. Hand dyed using local elderberries and the tiny hearts were cut from Laura Ashley and organza remnants. Inside the glove is a little cloth bag containing lavender from the garden. All in all a home sourced job!
Most of these designs are from the Scandstiches set from September House, and a few are from Jenny Hart.

The card is inscribed on the back, 'Dear Mother from Harry wishing you many happy returns on your birthday 28.11.17 xxxxx'. Harry was killed in action on 4 October 1917 in Belgium so the card would have been received after his death.
