Long before I began quilting, I embroidered. This baby quilt, measuring 55" X 36" , was made in the mid-1970's. I purchased a kit: a pre-stamped embroidery design on pre-quilted material. I wasn't even smart enough to bury my knots, so they're all still there on the back of this piece! Someday, perhaps, I'll clean this one up! While it may be my first "quilt," it certainly is a far distance from being a favorite.
