I wrapped a woolly ball with a section from a vintage doily and then added extra zing with a bit of embroidery using black wool yarn.
This angel ornament is all hand stitched and embroidered. It measures 5" by 3" with a white satin ribbon hanger stitched right inside.
I made a load of these cards for my open studios and for some galleries, I like making these, no 2 are ever the same.
Vintage embroidered tablecloth (cross-stitch on white linen) on the front. Finally, I found the piece in good condition that was big enough to make an adult-size dress. From an old, out-of-print french book on monogram embroidery. I can't even remember where I got this book. I must have picked it up when in Paris in the 1990s.

Finished this cushion today. It's a personal project made for my living room. It's got loads of hand stitching and was designed as I went along. I think it's ended up a bit 'busy' but there are selected areas I'm really pleased with , like the sequined cloud.

Girls Blouse: The blouse is secured with a back-button closing. The sleeves are gathered at the upper edges and are fitted with elastic at the lower edges achieving a ruffled effect. Styles 1 and 2 have shaped yokes in front. Style 1 features a contrasting collar and self ruffling below the yoke. In style 2, embroidered edging trims the high neck edge, three-quarter sleeves and yoke of embroidered fabric. In style 3, ruffling of embroidered edging accents the bound, scooped-out neckline and puffed sleeves.
