Reverse: RESTITVTOR REI - PVBLICAE // TROBS. Valens in armor with diadem in the front view, in l. Hand an ensign with Christogram (labarum), aligned with the r. Hand on a woman who is probably to be seen as the personification of the state due to wall crown and cornucopia.

This bottle is often called a "Christmas Coke" because the style was patented on December 25, 1923. They were made until 1937. It was believed that the Owen-Illinois glass plant in Cincinnati was idled in 1933. Since this bottle came from that plant in 1935, that can't be true.

The township used embossed street signs until the 1970s and they gradually were replaced with the green ones with white reflective letters. This one is in an odd place so it must have been overlooked.

In 1954 the Lincoln Fruit and Syrup Company changed its name to Lincoln Foods, which means both of these bottles are from 1954 or later.

Embossing involves raising areas of a card surface above the level of the rest. The diagram below shows a coat of arms that has been embossed on bizcard. The images stands out from the card as it has been produced by a stamp which presses the card to the correct shape.
