Willem II Straat, ter hoogte van huisnummers 13 en 15
De straat is genoemd naar koning Willem II, die graag in Tilburg verbleef en er een paleis heeft laten bouwen. Het paleis is nu in gebruik als stadhuis en wordt vooral gebruikt voor de raadsvergaderingen, het sluiten van huwelijken en voor representatieve doeleinden.

The street is named after King Willem II, who liked to stay in Tilburg and had a palace built there. The palace is now used as a town hall and is mainly used for council meetings, marriage ceremonies and for representative purposes.

Die Straße ist nach König Willem II. genannt, der gerne in Tilburg verblieb und dort einen Palast errichten ließ. Der Palast wird heute als Rathaus genutzt und hauptsächlich für Ratssitzungen, Hochzeitszeremonien und zu repräsentativen Zwecken genutzt.

Focus stack of 68 images. Shot with one off-camera strobe (Leica SF 60/Leica SF C1 trigger), placed at low angle (about 10 degrees), camera right and in line with the subject to illuminate the surface texture and embedded diamond grit. Flash modified with MagMod Mag Snoot,
A superb lp mini break with Quornflake, Mart and Phill in Llanberis. The slate quarry there is insanely massive with far too much to shoot in one evening. The day was spent reccying all the nooks and crannies which in itself was a mammoth task. When night fell we headed to our first spot and got cracking.
It was was great to get out with you all chaps and quality to finally meet Mart.
I think we will return here as this really doesn't do the location any justice and there is so much left to shoot including the most insane but hard to access spot I've ever seen. Here's to next time.

The fruit, called a cacao pod, is ovoid, 15–30 cm (6–12 in) long and 8–10 cm (3–4 in) wide, ripening yellow to orange, and weighs about 500 g (1 lb) when ripe. The pod contains 20 to 60 seeds, usually called "beans", embedded in a white pulp.
The seeds are the main ingredient of chocolate, while the pulp is used in some countries to prepare refreshing juice, smoothies, jelly, and cream. Usually discarded until practices changed in the 21st century, the fermented pulp may be distilled into an alcoholic beverage. Each seed contains a significant amount of fat (40–50%) as cocoa butter.
The fruit's active constituent is the stimulant theobromine, a compound similar to caffeine.

This is the base of the same tree I uploaded yesterday and it is not photoshopped.
The old headstone on the right is partially embedded in the large tree trunk. The tree must have grown slowly swallowing the stone.

In the Xi Tauri (Ushakaron) Star System, a mere 210 light years away from the McDonalds in my town, there is a planet that orbits Aldebaran. Scientists and all there fancy, highfalutin astronomy gear have long figured its existence but, have never been able to confirm it. Well, I know a thing or two about outer space and I can tell you that it does exist and it is known by the inhabitants as Blort. Indeed, I know this for sure because... I've been there! Yes! See that apartment balcony, third row from the left, eight from the ground? My good friend, Keegzat, lives there and we often trade secret strategies for dominoes; long, contemplative discussions on the benefits of a secure bitcoin wallet and the tender mercies of preconceived naughtiness when no one is suspecting the neither - a fine trick when nothing is working but the fanbelt.
