Embankment Pier on the Thames as seen from Millenium Bridge

Long exposure of 6 seconds, the first time EVER that I have taken a night time photograph with car light trails! It was quite fun too :-)

There is much elaborate iron work along the Embankment in London - especially the streetlamps and the benches. Here's some of the many benches with Sphinxes on them - in America there'd probably be some "concerned citizen" complaining about the boobies.

This is in the gardens next to the Embankment tube station, overlooking the Thames. Went there for a walk before an RSA event on Thursday - it was sunny and the spring is most decidedly here.
