Victoria Embankment Gardens were lade out in the 1860s as part of a building scheme that also included the District Line, which runs beneath. The gardens front the river Thames on one side, and are backed by the Savoy and Adelphi buildings off the Strand.
Boat moored at the Wellingborough Embankment on the River Nene. A few weeks ago it was impossible to tell where the path ended and the river began. Floods have subsided but its still very damp underfoot.
I wanted to create a battle scene in the woods by taking multiple photos of myself assuming multiple stances, then cropping them together.
It was an ambitious project, and it would have worked had water not gotten on my lens and screwed everything up. I might try it next time if I have better weather.
