This was taken on the Hungerford Bridge, Embankment on Friday while I was in London for the day (submitting artwork for the Mall Galleries, fingers crossed!) No, I wasn't thinking of jumping off, but I might if my work gets rejected again!

A great looking cycle track by UK standards - reasonable width, good segregation, plenty of gaps (if narrow) to access it, and it looks like quite a lot of thought has gone into the details.

Victoria Embankment Gardens were lade out in the 1860s as part of a building scheme that also included the District Line, which runs beneath. The gardens front the river Thames on one side, and are backed by the Savoy and Adelphi buildings off the Strand.
