A last splash of colour before winter sets in.

As taken in the Turbine hall of the fine Tate Modern in London

I came across the blaze of colour beside the canal at Freemans Lock Leicester.

I couldn't believe how vibrant they were.

I took a number of shots. These are some of the best. If you live in the area get along and with your camera before they fade.

I was pleased to see that this shot appeared in the Leicester Mercury last night. July 4th.

A great looking cycle track by UK standards - reasonable width, good segregation, plenty of gaps (if narrow) to access it, and it looks like quite a lot of thought has gone into the details.
