Ciudad Encantada, Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha, España.
La Ciudad Encantada es un paraje natural español de formaciones rocosas calcáreas o calizas formadas a lo largo de miles de años. Se localiza cerca de Valdecabras, en el término municipal de Cuenca (España), en una amplia zona de pinares de la parte meridional de la serranía conquense y a una altitud de 1500 metros.
Fue declarada Sitio Natural de Interés Nacional el 11 de junio de 1929. La acción del agua, el viento y el hielo ha hecho posible este fenómeno kárstico. La heterogeneidad de las rocas en cuanto a su morfología, composición química y grado de dureza es lo que ha permitido el desgaste desigual de las mismas por los elementos atmosféricos, dando como resultado una muestra sorprendente de arte pintoresco proveniente de la misma naturaleza. A las caprichosas y espectaculares formaciones existentes hay que sumar lapiaces, torcas y sumideros.
Comparte estas características especialmente con "Los Callejones", paraje ubicado en el término municipal de Las Majadas. Ambos lugares forman parte del parque natural Serranía de Cuenca, creado mediante la Ley de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha 5/2007.
The Enchanted City is a Spanish natural area of calcareous or limestone rock formations formed over thousands of years. It is located near Valdecabras, in the municipality of Cuenca (Spain), in a wide area of pine forests in the southern part of the Cuenca mountains and at an altitude of 1,500 meters.
It was declared a Natural Site of National Interest on June 11, 1929. The action of water, wind and ice has made this karstic phenomenon possible. The heterogeneity of the rocks in terms of their morphology, chemical composition and degree of hardness is what has allowed their uneven wear by atmospheric elements, resulting in a surprising sample of picturesque art from nature itself. To the whimsical and spectacular existing formations we must add lapiaces, torques and sinkholes.
It shares these characteristics especially with "Los Callejones", a place located in the municipality of Las Majadas. Both places are part of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, created by the Law of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha 5/2007.

Per ora , mi allontano da quell'elemento caldo, ruvido e polveroso (sabbia) per rientrare in qualcosa a me più consono.
Nella filosofia,il mare, l'acqua salata, assume significati simbolici legati alla vita, alla morte, alla purificazione, alla vastità e al mistero dell'ignoto.
E continua ad essere fonte di ispirazione per artisti, scrittori , filosofi e fotografi.... che la utilizzano per esprimere concetti di vastità, profondità, e cambiamento.

For now, I'm moving away from that warm, rough, and dusty element (sand) to return to something more familiar.
In philosophy, the sea, salt water, takes on symbolic meanings linked to life, death, purification, the vastness and mystery of the unknown.
And it continues to be a source of inspiration for artists, writers, philosophers, and photographers... who use it to express concepts of vastness, depth, and change.

En Lofoten hay una gran cantidad de rincones para perderse y en este caso nuestra guía/fotógrafa nos llevó a este pequeño núcleo habitado, frío y viento y no vimos ningún ser humano durante el tiempo que estuvimos deambulando ...
Esta pequeña casita no es mas que una sauna y supongo que será pública ya que está ubicada en un lugar con una vista para relajar los sentidos.
Nos encontramos al final de un fiordo y ya subí alguna foto con unas placas de huelo rotas provocado por las mareas.
Formación estalagmítica en el fondo de la Sima del Campillo, Tous, (València). Ya os la presenté con otra iluminación (y sin persona) como "Monumento pétreo" en mi galería.
En respuesta al llamado de Zalo, empiezo con una toma subterránea para mostrar esta fantástica formación junto a la cual hice posar a esta compañera a fin de dimensionar la cosa. Un solo disparo de flash, separado de la cámara y desde el lado izquierdo, mas la propia luz del casco de la chica bastaron para la foto.

Situado en pleno valle del Salnés, en el Concejo de Ribadumia, casa del siglo XVIII, de arquitectura neoclásica señorial gallega. La propiedad cuenta con elementos románticos, fuentes de piedra, cenadores, crucero de piedra, hórreos y capilla. Ademas posee una bodega donde se elabora vino de la denominación "Rías Baixas". Los jardines son de alto interés botánico, rodeados de viñedos en parra de uva autóctona "Albariño". Está en la ruta de la camelia, con mas de cinco mil ejemplares de mil ochocientas variedades de diferentes especies.

Located in the valley of Salnés, in the Council of Ribadumia, House of the eighteenth century, neoclassic architecture of Galicia. The property features romantic elements, stone fountains, gazebos, stone cruisers, granaries and chapels. It also has a winery where wine is made from the denomination ' Rías Baixas '. The gardens are of high botanical interest, surrounded by vineyards in autochthonous grape vines "Albariño ". It is on the route of the Camellia, with more than five thousand specimens of one thousand eight hundred varieties of different species.

Pequeña serie de cinco fotos del viaje a Lofoten que de otra manera no verían la luz en este espacio de naturaleza...
En esta foto estamos en una playa haciendo las últimas luces, con la mirada perdida en el horizonte, sus reflejos en el agua y arena...pero alguien del grupo me enseñó a volver la vista atrás...y ahí está esa mole con una luz espectacular.
Mi aportación al tema propuesto para esta semana.
En el tiempo que me otorgaron una cierva con su cría del año, me atreví a componer con el fondo rural, aunque cuando quise reducir la focal al mínimo del zoom para incluir el roble de la derecha sin cortar, ya me dijeron que les bastaba la sesión...
Al fondo y como elementos humanos, se aprecia un pequeño pueblo de la montaña central asturiana y una senda que discurre por encima de la carretera local en el fondo del valle. Lástima que la luz ya era muy escasa y no daba para más.

L'abside, a differenza delle pareti laterali, è dominata dalle decorazioni, tanto da poter quasi rivaleggiare in questo senso con la facciata.
Come quest'ultima, anche la parete absidale è ripartita i tre registri: in questo caso, però, non sono degli elementi decorativi a causare ciò, ma l'elemento architettonico principale, cioè l'abside.
Le parti laterali sono divisi in due registri dalle paraste d'angolo e dalle lesene: queste si concludono con due archetti modanati. Sia nel registro immediatamente a sinistra dell'abside che in quello immediatamente a destra si aprono due monofore, dalla centina elegantemente modanata.
L'abside è elegantemente ripartita da semicolonne poggianti su plinti e culminanti in capitelli a foglia: tra questi e gli archetti che danno il ritmo alla parte superiore dell'abside, degli abachi dadiformi.
Tre monofore si aprono sulla parete dell'abside, tutte dotate di centina modanata.
Un'apertura cruciforme si trova invece nel timpano del registro centrale della parete, mentre nello zoccolo stanno altre tre mofore che danno luce alla cripta della cattedrale.

The apse, unlike the side walls, is dominated by the decorations, so much so that it can almost rival the facade in this sense.
Like the latter, the apse wall is also divided into three registers: in this case, however, it is not the decorative elements that cause this, but the main architectural element, that is the apse.
The lateral parts are divided into two registers by the corner pilasters and the pilasters: these end with two molded arches. Both in the register immediately to the left of the apse and in the one immediately to the right there are two single-lancet windows, with an elegantly molded rib.
The apse is elegantly divided by semi-columns resting on plinths and culminating in leaf capitals: between these and the arches that give rhythm to the upper part of the apse, there are diced abacuses.
Three single-lancet windows open on the apse wall, all with molded ribs.
A cruciform opening is instead found in the tympanum of the central register of the wall, while in the plinth there are three other mophores that give light to the crypt of the cathedral.

Troço dos passadiços de madeira inseridos na Paisagem Protegida das Lagoas de Bertiandos e São Pedro de Arcos, localizada no concelho de Ponte de Lima, distrito de Viana do Castelo. Esta infraestrutura elevada é um elemento técnico fundamental para a gestão do ecoturismo na região, permitindo a circulação de visitantes por meio de zonas sensíveis sem causar a compactação do solo ou danos à vegetação ribeirinha envolvente. Classificada como Zona Húmida de Importância Internacional e integrante da Rede Natura 2000, esta área protegida abrange cerca de 350 hectares e teve a sua origem na dinâmica hidrológica histórica do rio Lima. O sistema de passadiços atravessa um mosaico complexo de habitats, que inclui lagoas permanentes, bosques aluviais dominados por amieiros e salgueiros, e áreas de pastagem. A estrutura visível na fotografia protege o ecossistema pantanoso subjacente, caracterizado por uma densa flora higrófila, essencial para a filtragem natural da água e para o refúgio de diversas espécies de avifauna e anfíbios que encontram neste santuário natural do Norte de Portugal um habitat preservado.
A section of the wooden boardwalks located within the Protected Landscape of the Bertiandos and São Pedro de Arcos Lagoons, situated in the municipality of Ponte de Lima, district of Viana do Castelo. This elevated infrastructure is a key technical element for managing ecotourism in the region, allowing visitors to move through sensitive areas without causing soil compaction or damage to the surrounding riparian vegetation. Classified as a Wetland of International Importance and part of the Natura 2000 Network, this protected area covers approximately 350 hectares and originated from the historical hydrological dynamics of the Lima River. The boardwalk system traverses a complex mosaic of habitats, including permanent lagoons, alluvial forests dominated by alders and willows, and grazing areas. The structure visible in the photograph protects the underlying marsh ecosystem, characterized by dense hygrophilous flora, which is essential for natural water filtration and serves as a refuge for various species of birds and amphibians that find a preserved habitat in this natural sanctuary in northern Portugal.
