Kulmiye party, Somaliland;s former opposition party won the presidential election held on the 26th of June 2010, the NEC Somalilands election commission announced the out come and the winner of the presidential race, president elect Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo and vice president elect Abdirahman Abdilahi Zailie on Thursday night July the 2nd in Hargeisa.
This was a history in the making again Somaliland, second nation in Africa where Democracy is part of there heritage here in Somaliland.

Line of voters in Cambridge, MA. When I voted myself this morning the line was longer than I'd ever seen. I think people were excited and wanted to cast their votes early.
The British Embassy Budapest organised an Election Night party on 6 May 2010. The programme included welcoming remarks by HM Ambassador Greg Dorey and Election Analyst Robert Laszlo from Political Capital, "news feeds" from UK news networks during the entire evening, a free UK Election 2010 guide, a "dummy election" and a pub quiz on UK history, the electoral system and the candidates.

Como, 2 Febbraio - 4 Marzo 2018. Trentuno foto scattate a partire dall'inizio della campagna elettorale sino al giorno delle votazioni politiche nazionali (compreso). Quasi surreale lo scarso uso di manifesti; praticamente nessuna scritta politiche sui muri, mentre si nota la presenza di piccoli adesivi, attaccati prevalentemente sui pali. Mi sono ispirato al "Saggio sulla Lucidità " di Saramago nel pubblicare le bandiere italiana ed europea all'inizio ed alla fine della serie.
