Even though a political party supports a cause dear to your heart - like secularism - that is no excuse for being anti-democratic, incompetent, corrupt and mismanaging the economy. It is like clinging to George Bush because he supports free-trade.

 

I like the photo of the book below. Looks pretty cool...both are somewhat noisy though...actually one is cropped from the other. No prizes for guessing which one...

I think the Firecracker just won the election for Obama. Who can argue with this? Cats like Obama! And dogs like him, too! And so do fractions! And traffic lights! Even music is on his side. (For a while he had the support of a singing lemon, but it didn't make the final version.)

Living in SF even as an independent, you get a lot of campaign material mailed to you.

The British Embassy Budapest organised an Election Night party on 6 May 2010. The programme included welcoming remarks by HM Ambassador Greg Dorey and Election Analyst Robert Laszlo from Political Capital, "news feeds" from UK news networks during the entire evening, a free UK Election 2010 guide, a "dummy election" and a pub quiz on UK history, the electoral system and the candidates.

Spent the night doing some freelance press work of the crowds at the Obama Election Rally, downtown Chicago. What an amazing evening. Met so many wonderful people. The spirit in the air was electric.

Elections Year: a difficult year with a enormous quantity of work for me and my friends. Fortunately has arrived at its end.

I spent the Day in the sun handing out pamphlets for the Australian Sex party. Then the rest of the evening counting votes with a different hat on. Got to love small towns.
