Living in SF even as an independent, you get a lot of campaign material mailed to you.

The British Embassy Budapest organised an Election Night party on 6 May 2010. The programme included welcoming remarks by HM Ambassador Greg Dorey and Election Analyst Robert Laszlo from Political Capital, "news feeds" from UK news networks during the entire evening, a free UK Election 2010 guide, a "dummy election" and a pub quiz on UK history, the electoral system and the candidates.
Elections Year: a difficult year with a enormous quantity of work for me and my friends. Fortunately has arrived at its end.

My friend Nigel said the choice facing us in the upcoming election is like trying to decide whether you want to be mugged by a guy wearing a cowboy hat or one in a fedora. I suggested it was more like choosing the weapon of the mugging: twenty lashes around the head and arms with a bunch of stout switches or four thousand and fifty-seven stab wounds to the torso with a stiletto. So he made another pitcher of martinis and we talked about the depredations of televised sport, the subtext of all erotic chit-chat.

I got my ballot for AV through the post today. I'm considering not spoiling this one as it doesn't seem like too ridiculous an idea, but not sure about that yet.
Along with my AV ballot, though, I got this other particularly useful ballot paper- amazing. I decided if I am to spoil anything it should be this one, so this I did.
Took me bloody ages to colour in that mouth with a 0.7mm fineliner. There are clearly more practical pieces of stationery for the job, but I was enjoying putting ink to paper with this pen

WHIO-TV Channel 7 broadcasts on Election Day, Nov. 2, 2010, from the combined newsroom it soon will share with the Dayton Daily News and WHIO radio in the Media Center on South Main Street in Dayton. Cox is constructing new broadcast facilities in the Media Center, formerly home to just the Dayton Daily News.
