On the way to our Tombstone Lake destination, the trail takes us past the beautiful and clear waters of Elbow Lake.

Part of the parade Celebrating the centenary of the Canadian community of Elbow in 2009. Elbow is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. In 2006 its population was 294 persons. It was founded in 1909, near what is now Lake Diefenbaker. It is 8 km northwest of Mistusinne, 10 km northwest of Douglas Provincial Park and 16 km southeast of Loreburn. The town got its name from its position on the elbow of the South Saskatchewan River.

Elbow falls at sunset. even though there are not much magic colors, I kinda like the golden and blue combination. It is a year round destination for Calgarians.
