first time I ever dye my hair, and I dye it purple. this was a few months ago, and I regret not taking more, better photos of it.
I would do it again if it hadn't DYED MY WHOLE BODY. I had a purple stripe down my back and my hands were dyed purple. even my toes were purple from where the water ran down my body onto my feet. it was ridiculous. and then it fades in under a month? fuck that.
I'll just buy a wig.

I woke up at 3am with a horrible migraine, my head was about to explode, I felt nauseated, my pounding heart was racing within my chest, my splitting headache made me cry for Mama's touch. I was freezing and shivering, then again I was burning, too damned hot, too aware of the pain all over my body. I felt like big houses were closing in on me from all sides. I lied in bed, in the dark, falling in and out of troublesome sleep. I was dreaming I was in Canada, in an airport, in-between flights, trying to catch my connection, but somehow I knew I had taken that flight before...
And then, after ten hours of feeling miserably sorry for myself, suddenly it was almost gone, leaving me dizzy and empty headed.
I wonder whether it had anything to do with the flu I had last week. Whatever... I feel better now, thinking about those who suffer migraines constantly. What a hell it must be. Promising myself to take better care of my health, not taking it for granted.
Sometimes such reminders have special effects on one.

Bonkers was still suffering from side-effects from his anti-seizure medicine when I took this picture of him in Yubari in February of 2017. It appears that he had just put his paw in his water bowl and wasn't entirely happy with the situation.
The latest version of my homemade pedalboard. Updates include: In the Delay department, the Danelectro Dan-Echo went kaput, so I replaced it with an ancient DOD FX90 Delay I've had for ages, but it has proven to be both noisy and a bit cantankerous in its' old age, so it's been replaced with its' grandson, a very cool (and somewhat rare) FX96 Echo FX pedal. The cheesy, cheap and noisy 14-dollar Rocktek tuner I had lasted as long as expected, so an Arion Stage tuner has taken its' place.
The Major update is the edition of the DOD Punkifier Pedal, a fine overdrive/fuzz I've owned and used for years. On the Pedalboard of Doom, it's dialed up for a very mild--but always on--overdrive, intended to give my current amp (a mid-60's Gibson Ranger) a little more oomph and character, now that the amp I've been using previously (a borrowed Fender Vibroverb) has been sold by its' actual owner..
This one isn't anything special, but Flame Painter is capable of some cool etching effects. A little hard to control, though.
