Educators from across the state flew into the Delaware National Guard's River Road Training Site on Thursday, May 7, 2015 and Friday, May 8, 2015. They started their experience with a ride in a UH-60 Blackhawk. Once at River Road, they were trained on the Engagement Skills Trainer and the Virtual Convoy Operations Trainer. The rounded out the day with briefings on the benefits of joining the National Guard. The day long experience is designed to give educators a look inside the Delaware National Guard so they can pass that information on to their students who are interested in a military career.
