Outside edge of a derelict building. The graffiti caught my eye from the road and drew me to the site to take these shots.
I may add more ruching somewhere else. This was so much fun--if time-consuming. But then, the whole process is a great example of slow cloth.

Edge Gerring: “Desert Years” is an homage to Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings done during her years in New Mexico. It is a Separate Piano Hinge binding which reveals her portrait when the pin is removed and the accordion binding extended. I used various papers I had on hand, pictures from the internet, Aleen's Quick Dry Tacky glue and glue stick. The hinge pin is a paint brush.
Kinver Edge is home to the last troglodyte dwellings occupied in England, with a set of complete cave-houses excavated into the local sandstone.
