Andrew asked why I built out the deadman and vise before I even had a top. The reason is that I need them to joint the top. It currently takes me about 2 hours to edge joint two 8' boards. I'm sure it would be faster if I had a jointer, but think of the workout I would be missing.

A camera club outing to Curbar Edge on Friday evening. Not much nice sky or light to be had early on, but then it changed and we got a little bit of both. However, the anticipated sunset never materialised. Here are a few of my favourites from the evening.
