Twenty five history enthusiasts spent three hours at the battlefield in August on a very hot, clear day. The group was led by Ed Bearss, Chief Historian Emeritus of the National Park Service (white shirt and pointing stick). The Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway was built in 1927 as Hammerstein's Theater. CBS as used it as a radio and later television broadcasting studio since 1936. It was the home of the Ed Sullivan Show from 1953 to 1971 and is now the home of the Late Show with David Letterman. 1697 Broadway.
