Ed Sullivan was a TV host on the CBS Network for 25 years. He had his own show which was called the Ed Sullivan Show. The studio he recorded in is now called the Ed Sullivan Theater, which is where the David Leterman Show is recorded. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the most popular shows of CBS in the 1950's and 1960"s. He has a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Ca. He is entombed in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.

I have had this pair styled and waiting to be photographed for ages! The inspiration for their outfits and styling (posing too ;-)) is the Maison Margiela Co-Ed 2023 collection. I don't think I have had them dressed like this since 2023 but it been a while... For this shoot I was especially inspired by the bags carried by the models and of course the coats and jackets worn reversed (which started a viral trend I believe). I also loved all the crazy hats and crazy walks on the runway. I loved the creativity and originality of John Galliano at Maison Margiela and I think he will be sorely missed there.

Ed Alleyne-Johnson busking one friday in York. Ed is an acomplished musician and has been producing and performing music for years. Fans of New Model Army will recognise him as their electric violinist.

Sound is a Roots Reggae/Dub sound system and record label based in Norwich, UK.
The sound system was originally established in 1980 by Tony Roots when he returned to England from time spent in Jamaica with Joseph Hill and the mighty Culture. Tony recognized a need in the local area for some sort of musical outlet for Reggae music and the message it carries. It was Joseph Hill who named the sound system.
Throughout the 1980’s Foundation introduced many international Reggae artists and bands to Norwich/Norfolk. Acts included greats such as The Twinkle Brothers, Rico Rodriguez, Eek-A-Mouse, Culture, Aswad and Earl 16. Alongside Foundation Sound, Tony and the original sound crew formed the roots rockers band, The Liberators and more recently the dub outfit Dubartra.
The Foundation Sound record label was set up in 2008, the production team consisting of Ed Foundation and King Sammy. Foundation work with many UK, JA and international singers and musicians, like the sound system the music policy is conscious Roots Reggae and Dub, the sound a blend of both digital and live instruments.

My Ed Ruscha Monument was featured in the September, 1990 issue of Smithsonian Magazine. Their article resulted in a call from Charles Karault and a documentary by him and his crew that is televised periodically on PBS and Arts & Entertainment. Sometimes life is grand.
