A total lunar eclipse taken place on December 21, 2010 as seen from Calgary, Alberta.

The temperature outside was a balmy -16C, but with the wind it felt like -23C.

Fog rolled in just before totality started, but luckily the fog dissipated right before totality ended.

This was also a special lunar eclipse because it landed on the same day as the winter solstice for the first time in 372 years. The last time it happened was the year 1638.

Eclipse - North Delta Townhomes

ucked next to a forested green space just steps from a new lakeside park, you’ll find Eclipse, Polygon’s latest collection of townhome residences at the landmark master-planned community of Sunstone in North Delta.

This limited collection of three and four bedroom townhomes showcases welcoming Arts and Crafts architecture and evokes a storybook feeling with dramatic pitched roofs, charming gables and window boxes. Inside, contemporary interiors feature open-plan layouts, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, warm laminate flooring, and sleek stainless steel appliances. For added convenience, large private decks invite outdoor entertaining, and attached garages welcome residents of every home.

Situated in the heart of a family friendly community, close at hand are an array of hiking and biking trails, good schools, and shopping, and convenient commuter access to Vancouver and beyond. Every Eclipse resident will also benefit from membership to the Sunstone Club, a private residents-only clubhouse featuring over 12,000 square feet of resort-style amenities.

Five copies of a solar eclipse in my palm.

Y después de Pelusa la lunatic viene el eclipse XD

Es que ayer me cargué uno y pensé que que mejor que hacer un broche en su honor XDDDD

my photo of it isn't so impressive. but holy CRAP was it impressive in person.

I later read that two babies were born in Ghana during the height of the eclipse. Both have been cursed with "Eclipse" as a middle name. As for us, we watched it with the staff of the Mighty Victory Hotel in Cape Coast. The local Methodist secondary school serenaded the gods during the eclipse by blasting a tinny version of "It's a small world after all" that sounded like it had been recorded on a toy piano. The experience was just as mystical and dramatic as I remembered from the one I saw in Hungary a few years ago, the one that turned me into an unabashed eclipse-chaser.

This set is a chronological photo journey of the 12th annual Eclipse Festival in Quebec, Canada. In all of my travels, I have found Eclipse to be one of the absolute best musical gatherings. All aspects of this event have been meticulously planned and thought out, from production to layout to musical selections and everything in between. The magic is in the air every trip up to Eclipse, this time with big upgrades with large woods camping and a large beautiful lake. With the photos, I wish to show the innovation and vibes of the festival as a small glimpse into the experience. As an event organizer, this is the type of event that you go to and become very motivated to continue creating. Big thank you to the entire Tech Safari crew and all who were involved.

During the summertime a drake Wood Duck molts out of his beautiful, nuptial plumage into what is called his eclipse plumage. It only lasts a few weeks before he will molt back into breeding plumage. And I found the drakes difficult to photograph during this stage because they would often stay hidden. But I did have a brief photo session with this drake one morning in early July. He perched for a long time in front of a large family of ducks, not allowing me a clean shot. But finally the family dispersed and I found a brief window when he was alone. July 3, 2015

This photo was taken on 12 October 1996, during the partial solar eclipse in Greece. I used my Zenit 122 together with my TAL-1 11.4 cm telescope and the sun filter that was provided with the telescope.

The 2017 Total Eclipse was a fun thing to do for the whole family. Why not make eclipse shirts to wear for the event.

"What a shame" that's all I can think of when I see this beauty and not that common car standing there as the grass grows by, it was in the same place as the Alfa, R5 Copa and Seat 850 but this one was in the back field of it, standing there, seing how days go by.

I really hope that just like for the others this one is waiting to be repaired or something because if it's going to be wasted then it is shame, I can't read the plate and I don't remember it (or if I actually read it).

This was sold from 1990 to 1994 apparently.

Spotted in a small town in Cantabria.

Pittsburgh was not the best place to shoot the eclipse. But I still got a few interesting shots.
